Capewell is great, a good find 2 years ago and a flexible player who cant be on much coin. But he isnt in the same sentence as Bird. Only thing that would win me over would be to sign JReynolds, huge fan. Flanno would get his best out for sure.

Eh, I have just never really quite got on board with the Bird hype. I do see his ability and potential. But that doesn't mean I think it's worth breaking the bank to keep him. As I said, I know I'm in the minority of Shark fans who feel this way.

I would love for us to sign JRey! I think he's fantastic, I love how much enthusiasm he plays with and I think he'd be great for us. It's nice to see someone else who would like this too, most people seem to not want him. But then again most people didn't want Ennis to sign either, and look at how that turned out.

I think trading out Merrin is something I will end up regretting. Also want to see how Yates goes with Buhrer out.

New trade idea is cashing out Kelly and trading Jacks to Milford.

If Crichton can maintain the minutes and scores, I may bring him in next week at a higher price or go with Whitehead or Bromwich.

My same thinking with my trades, do I bring in an underpriced gun in crichton/whitehead? or do I just get Surgess/walker as I KNOW I want them in my final 17 and won't have to trade them out later. it is what has me in 2 minds over this weeks trades. I can go 2 300-400k players or a cash out and Lolo/Surgess/Graham. I think long term the guns will be better, but how do you pass up the cash from crichton Very Happy

Mate i actually have Crichton and whitehead
AND I'm planning to bring in gutherson walker etc to make it around 12

How many are most aiming to have for round 12? I know it's about quality over quantity but I just can't see more than 12ish

Have 10 for round 12 Brailey, JWH, Gallen, Bodene, SJ, Moga, Aubs, Guths, Cotric and RTS. and similiar figures for round 18. I am looking at keepers from 2x bulldogs/roosters and 2x rabbits between now and round 12

Without really planning for it, I have 12 players already for Round 12 (Brailey, JWH, Surgess, Mannering, Whitehead, Crichton. SJ, Norman, Aubs, Gennings, RTS, Cotric) and aim to bring in JGraham, Walker, maybe NBrown plus a bye-friendly hooker for CS9 before trading him back in Rnd20. If the right cash-outs appear then could be looking at fielding 17.

Round 15 is a bit of a mess but hopefully can get up to 13/14 players there.

Right now i have 7 players for rd12 but i think im bringing in Surgess and Crichton for McGuire and Yates this week so thats 9, next week most likely bring in Whitehead and will look for a back cash out that might help over Origin to bring it to 11. Considering half the teams have a bye that round plus Origin players are out there isnt many keepers still left. From now i aim for every 2nd trade to be a keeper.

shlt i cant do those trades as both McGuire and Yates are in FR and i only have 1 SR with DPP. I only just realised now Surgess doesnt have DPP. Most likely i go McGuire to NBrown this week and Yates to Crichton. Surgess will have to come later

I think whichever way you go, I've always felt bye proofing and getting your final team as early as possible are mutually exclusive.

Gone cold on Crichton. Can't see Turgess Clark Gurgess and Musgrove sharing 106 minutes again. The Hookers shared 93 minutes which seems about right. Surgess should play 70 most weeks and Sutton is the big minute backrower of choice. Don't see Crichton continuing to play 80 and think it will be closer to 60 across the year. Reversed my Sironen to Crichton trade after having a decent look at the minutes break down.

Jacks to Walker may be on the cards instead to give me a solid 4th reserve this week and give me a jump on next weeks trades

Crighton it is, kelly cash out.  Trades sorted u panzy ass trade procrastinators.

    Lol

Did my trades on Monday and only revisited them 10 times on Tuesday, 8 times yesterday and only 3 times today.Very Happy

Unless I change my mind tomorrow I'll stay with JWH to NBrown and Yates to the Crighton. More upside and buys better I'd think.

Too much uncertainty over Brown to lose JWH mate I reckon if I was dumping JWH it would be for Fifita/Graham

Don't know if this has been mentioned but Wardle named at starting 2rf for Knights in their amended 19. Yates currently 18th man on extended bench, behind Feeney who I suppose might spell Levi at hooker with Buhrer out.

Agree, I have refused a pay increase and asked for a title instead. Did the job for few years then was able to get the money my title demanded. A job title does suggests a minimum pay level. wingers $ amount, give me the spot in a spin, $$$$. Give me the spot, the money will come.

this was supposed to be yatesy's opportunity to shine... wish i could jump on wardle this week but ive got other priorities.
i have a feeling wardle could go close to 80 (base this on barnett yet to play 80 this year but that could change)

Think I will go another way. The 2RF, isn't my main issue, 2nd gun half and gun FRF is..

    Must be nice!

This is a random, minor annoyance to post about but since there's no footy on, I might as well post about something. It gives me the shits that every week on NRL.com's fantasy preview shows they answer a question from the Warriors Joker fan.
All you have to do is get yourself a gimmick and suddenly you're somebody. Geez only the Warriors considering they have that Mr Bean fellow too. I mean where's the other nutcases like Souths guy, Bulldogs William Wallace guy and that Chooks fan with the giggity giggity signs on Twitter.

Maybe I should make an account posing as one of them and get a guaranteed answer every week. Why am I even posting about this? Fuck I don't know, who cares, I just like ranting sometimes.

Why was Conner Watson left out of the squad? He's been one of their best on field

I've gone off Crichton. nto because of any real doubt over his minutes/scoring.

But because my halves are Gutherson, Lamb, Jacks and Elgey. And its far more important to fix that up than to bring in another forward.

Pretty tempted by Wardle. If he does well this week think I might bring him in to my centres next week.

Being a Kiwi, I am not 100% sure but isn't NRL going to have a channel 24/7 ? have to full that time up some how???? best you get a gimmick. cooking with NRL plays???(no BBQ's with Malony) what are ex-NRL players doing now??? Wives of NRL plays, Soon it will be interviewing fans of the warriors joker and Mr bean fans!!! Have not seen the show, but not impressed that Mr Bean is representing the warriors.

I could suggest your gimmick be sleeping with NRL wives???? any one else have a suggestion that could help with stardom ???
