Maloney set to fill in for Thurston if he isn't back in time for the AUS vs NZ game. Maloney and Pearce will be NSW halves.

Well yeah, you would think so. I was just trying not to sound too certain, lest I be blamed by anyone making a decision based on this advice, as seems to be all too frequent around these parts.Bren wrote:

There will always be an element of uncertainty surrounding origin team lists until they are named. Buhrer/DWalker are a good example of that.zorasdomain wrote:

And also, Laurie Daley has no idea what he's doing, so could end up picking Keary and Reynolds or some shit.
To be fare Cotric could have outscored Brailey, he has done so previously. Players always score more after there has been a mass trade out. That's just NRL Fantasy for you! (Shit happens every year)WT Winfield wrote:
Not our fault you took advice from facebook.
If you were around these parts, when the discussion of final R between Brailey, Idris and Cotric came up, the consensus was Brailey. Cotric did get some fanfare though.

Past 3 years aren't good enough for you?
Same for me ATM he looks very overweight, has never seemed to carry it well but has normally dropped off a few weeks into season, he still looks way too fat ATM. He was fantastic over the last half of last season, if he returns to that form he will be a stealmultiple.scoregasms wrote:
Not unless they start awarding points based on previous averages. Until Merrin shows something this year he isn't even on my radar

That would be interesting.
There is a feature in VSDT (Past Stats) that shows how a player has performed on average in Rounds 1-8 v Rounds 9-18 v Rounds 19-26 since 2009. It shows that Smith's averages drops signicantly in the middle third of the season and then rises after Origin.

Holmes did well....
Fifi and Gal, both with a try, you would expect more.
But saying that, it was a game full of errors and penalties.
