Now that is one I didn't think of. Scores look on the way up so I'll use his 3 game average of 45. Pritchard plays 12/13/14/15/18. Assuming 45 in each. Pritchard gives 135 between 12 and 15 which is about 24 points over Smith. Gives another 45 over Smith in round 15 taking the total to 69. Misses the easy to cover round 16 where you will have another 40 scorer slot in so only lose 22 to Smith there taking us to 47. Scores another 45 in 17 where Smith scores 63 taking the advantage to 29. Scores another 45 in 18 where smith is unavailable bringing the total advantage over Smith to 74 points which is slightly better than Friend but still less than Cook and McInnes. The upside is that his scores are improving weekly and he doesn't require anyone to be selected for Origin to post these scores(like Friend and Cook do)

You would, but things are put in perspective a bit when you take into account he only played 46 minutes. That's about 15 minutes or so less than average. My back of the envelope calculations have him scoring at better than his ave points per minute yesterday even if you take of the points he scored in scoring that try.

Before I chuck my 2 cents in though, Im a bit confused about what you are meaning regarding your Cook scenario. Specifically, when you say cook can be easily replaced in round 16, then it seems to me like its not apples and oranges when comparing to the other scenarios (if I am reading it correctly)? Wouldn't it be better to leave that extra bit out so it is a straight Cam vs Cam to Cook, Cam to Friend, Cam to McInnes comparison?

Basically since Cook is scoring in rounds 12/15/18/19 when most coaches won't have a full 17 you get the full benefit of his scores. The round's he misses are easy to cover as most coaches will have more than 17 players in that round. So you aren't taking a 0 when Cook doesn't play as you can replace him with someone else

Last year when I scored my first ever 1K I had 3 40+'s, a 34 and a 29. This game don't make no sense.

Here's an additional thought. One of the advantages of trading Smith out over the origin period for a cheaper Hooker is the extra money you can use to bring in a bye friendly gun in another position to get those extra points...
