Wonder if Musgrove can get some worthwhile minutes again if Surgess is suspended. Turner + George Burgess seem to have killed off his mins.

I might bring in Sione into my ctrs to cover Idris but who goes Talakai or Kelly. H. Hunt due back this week so either Talakai or R. Jennings will get dropped. Talakai has performed better than R. Jennings imo as Jennings has a high error rate re missed tackles & dropped balls.

Flip of a coin with Madge mate, but I'd keep Kelly over Talakai.

I own Surgess & if he is suspended it might actually see Cook benefiting who I also own. When Farah comes on Cook to lock.

As frustrating as ET was I do agree. I think my love for ET is clouding my judgement.

He did spend a fair chuck of time on the edge. The problem for ET is he doesnt get involved when Tigers have ball in hand. An offload or two + a tb or two and his scoring would be excellent. 40 odd tackles and nothing else on the stats sheet just doesn't cut it.

Yeah I love ET too but even with an 80 minute game he just couldn't cut it. Like I mentioned though if Idris is injured I'll have to keep him for now.
Otherwise I have a choice between Leota, Sele, Hampton, Frawley, Rennings or Burns for the final R. So y'know I'll take a 40 from ET in that case.

Every year there is talk of dropping smith over the Origin period.

Is there any merit to doing for other players? i.e McGuire?

McGuire has done his job up until now, but in Both the FRF and 2RF there are enough players at the same level who could potentially perform better over the origin period, that you'd be comfortable playing for the rest of the season in his place.

Im contemplating a McGuire to Whitehead move to free up a bit of cash leading into byes period.

    Or McGuire to Surgess.

    Is the dumb?

I have him too. I guess he isn't really a priority trade out, at least not for me. Solid performer, you basically know you are going to get 35-40 ish every week and his price will barely move.

yeah, i need to do something with Musgrove this week (and probably turf Jacks to raise cash). At least ET will score a 40, its not panic stations with him.

I think Lamb to KNik could be a goer. KNik will hit Lamb's current price in a couple of weeks anyway and will allow me to upgrade to Walker if he has another quiet game this week.

Siro to Whitehead I could sit on for a week. Still no word on Siro so he must have gotten hooked and hopefully if that's the case he comes out and puts a bit of an effort in.

Would definitely get rid of Musgrove before ET mate. He will start bleeding cash now.

I'm sure my team will change after team lists are out but here is my team after trading out Jacks for niko and R.Jennings to Turbo.

    Smith McInnes
    McGuire F.Kaufusi Ese ese Yates
JDB Surgess Crichton Winterstein CHN Fuimaono
    SJ Nikorima Hampton Elgey
    Aubusson Turbo Kelly Idris
    RTS Slater Cotric Suli Phythian

Still 488k in the bank. Eventually going to upgrade Ese ese Yates and Winterstein but they are still making cash so there's no rush. Thoughts on my team and any advice would be great thanks

Nice team. Why T-Trbo instead of Leilua.

If you drop Smith the presumption is that you will pick him up again eventually or not?

That's a great team mate with that much cash in the bank, so jealous haha. Looks like you've made all the right moves so far. Your trades look good. I started with Turbo and he's a bit of a rollercoaster so far, but a definite keeper in the centres.

Elgey, 23 points with a try and a try save hahaha!! Might keep Lamb and punt Elgey for Niko. Won't get the coin, but damn this kid sucks.

That is a concern with Whitehead is the potential to end up in the centers again if there are any injuries

How badly do I need to trade out the Guth? I can trade him to Teddy in one go but the prospect of Idris missing and the fact I can go CHN to Crichton in one move is also pretty tempting.
I mean that Crichton train is going to leave the station soon but Guth is going to bleed cash faster than Ben Creagh can backpedal from a fight.

Crichton is this week or never mate.

Guth is a tough one. Eels attack was just so clunky. That second half though hopefully might spark them back into a some free flowing attack. I'm hoping they get it back into gear as Norman is doing my head in too.

If you look at Crichton and Ted, Crichton is probably the higher priority due to be and byes. Teddy has origin, but won't be any cheaper either.
