Not only do you get the last pick in the first round but you also get the last pick of the draft because there is an odd number of selections

You have to start runs from last pick in drafts, targetting players who are at the top of their respective positions at the expense of a few less points from higher averaging players in positions where the avg score is generally higher, like grabbing guys like Tedesco/Cleary etc and hoping it starts other draftees following with grabbing the next talent levels at less talent rich positions and leaving some gems for your the next pick! Picking at the end is tough waiting and watching all your potential picks vanishing before you get your call though! Saying that from picking 7th I’m really happy with some of the guys I’ve picked up!

Id rather pick 8th then 3/4/5/6. Yiu control the draft so much more with back to back picks. And you get first go at players after round 1.

Fairly happy with my squad. Obviously there were about 2-3 players I had my eyes on that I missed out on but that happens every year.

Really like the look of the team with Smith. Team with Taumalolo looks solid as well.

Scoring projections have me losing every game this year by at least 50 points !!

Reasonably happy with my squad although not as confident as I was this time last year.

Will be interested for anyone who offers me a decent hooker which is my area of weakness, will do a bit of a preseason preview now...dont be butthurt if i put you last its just an opinion.

I just had a look at my last pre season prediction, had me and moose 1,2 and trousers bottom so wasnt far off.
