Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 34
Happy to have played Suli (30)
I have 2 unique players left (Mannering, SJ) vs my opponent (RTS)
Trailing by 104 points, I need RTS to have a quiet game (preferrably under 20) and Mannering + SJ over 120.
Game on!

There is no way Suli is out scoring RTS.
Sounds like it was a risk you had to take but it doesnt look like it will pay off.

I'm only basing on the fact that RTS only scored 4 points against the Storm earlier in the year after 29 mins.

He's another trap in waiting. French is aiming for a return against the Roosters so Fogerty might only get 1 game and out. Oh well has flexibility with Guth so I guess it helps me out if I get in an emergency

Fogarty - gun of the year. I've had him since the beginning. He will soon be known as 'the saviour'. Get on suckers

It's popping up a lot here lately and even I've said it before. Anyway no really how awful was picking Abbey over Ponga. I listened to those punks on NRL.com was my problem. Ponga 2 weeks, Abbey 4-6 weeks in the team was the call.
I've gone against their advice every week now just out of spite because they made such a dud call on that one. Man I wanted Ponga, I wanted that lanky, head-geared kid busting the line every week. The logical call was to go with Abbey though.
Funnily enough though Hoppa's been gone for 6 weeks but Abbey couldn't even last that long in the team. Ponga has now played more games than him. It gets worse I can quote myself here and on NRL.com that I was considering Ponga because he'll probably score more in 2 than Abbey will in 4.
I mean I'm one of 16249 fools that fell for the Abbey trap but man this one just sucks complete ass.

I was happy that I went with my gut with Ponga, but I feel your pain. Not jumping on CHN because he was only suppose to get 1 week according to the same experts you speak of, I decided to let it by. Thought letting him go was fine last week when he was dropped. Then he came back next week. If Martin and Harris are nowhere around and he is starting again.......I think I'm just gonna do it, even though he'll be over 300K! Even though it'll most likely fuck me in the long run, it might ease some of the pain of missing out on him altogether. Sometimes dealing with your own sanity and peace of mind outweighs what's going on in the game.
Anyone else feel me, or am I a total basketcase?

Know what you mean mate.
I basically moved mountains to bank the cash I needed to bring in Macca, the way he was scoring I had to have him in my team regardless. Then Seggy broke his arm and sanity prevailed, I kept Brailey and spent the cash where it was more needed.

Yeah decided to give Roachy a rest for a bit and use the old school Tigers logo that I grew up with.
I took the r off Brailey this week and put it on CHN. I'm seriously considering tossing Brailey out for Kaysa Pritchard, he's scoring better than McInnes at the moment although rabbit said something about the Eels signing Fein.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 34
So with this the second week E. Taylor has got playing 80 minutes. This is the cheapest he is going to get, is he worth the trade in or holding off until after Round 13 and the first of the Tigers byes are gone. Means he will only miss 1 week for you then. Round 18, but may see his price increase in the next 3 rounds.
