    @random & @milchcow
Thanks for your suggestions earlier in the week
Will look at that this comind round

Was unsure what to do so just went with no trades
Thankfully Musgrove Yates and et all did alright and captain Corey went big

Now just hoping for a smith 40 to get a big surge in the ranks!

yuck, kneejerk Elgey to Frawley trade yesterday nowhere remotely close to as good my kneejerk Buhrer to Surgess trade a few weeks ago... was thinking at worst he be a body for round 12 but his price is gunna go backwards and he'll probably need to go straight out, not much in the way of cash cows in the halves, and i don't want to kill off a position in Round 8, so i might have to scrap a Hess upgrade and downgrade him instead to take Frawley straight to SJ or something, might give Edwards some real thought, not great for byes but a 30-35 avg should net some more cash

I'm thinking I'm running out of cash, and my cows are thinning out. I can't see where I'm going to make up the cash to get the big players in.

    Smith, Hodgson
    James, Wallace, Tolman, Hoare
JDB, Surgess, Crichton, Faufusi, A. Elliot, CHN
    Pearce, Knik, Lamb, Field
    TTrbo, SMat, Idris, Kelly
Slater, Cotric, RTS, Hayne, B. Burns

    23 trades left. 25K ITB

I'm already carrying red dots (Hoare, Field).
Some of the guys initially bought as cows, are doing enough to stick around (Faufusi, Wallace, CHN).
I'd like a new half soon to give me something more reliable than Lamb and Knik - Norman was supposed to be quiet this week to help with that.

    Thoughts on improvements?

    You beat MF once again
Nice update for Graham there... Keeping my 55 avg team again intact.

Kind of happy I kept Jayne sitting on the bench all along, he will try now due to state of origin, since my back three look good (Billy,RTS,Ponga) I might let go cotric go and free up cash, yes Ponga is a week to week proposition but will use Jayne if he gets the flick

Not sure I see the problem. You've got up to 14 guys (Smith, Hodgson, James, Wallace, Tolman, JDB, Surgess, Crichton, Pearce, TTurbo, SMat, RTS, Slater, Hayne) who could end up in your final team no worries, which means worst case scenario you only need cash to upgrade three more. Between Faufusi, Elliott, KNik, Lamb, CHN, Idris, Kelly and Cotric, I reckon you're not too far away. My team is pretty similar but I reckon I've only got 11 keepers/quasi-keepers at this stage.

Note this is just based on guesswork, but you could crunch the numbers based on current prices to see how far you are away eg from turning Lamb into Norman, Faufusi into Taumololo, CHN into Mannering. Plus there will always be more cash cows coming along which might help you to turn Hodgson into Macca, Tolman into Graham, Crichton into Gallen, Slater into Tedesco etc.

Man I was watching Elliot like a hawk today, I was sure he was going to get 25 minimum.

    Oh well.

There was talk on here of people trading Hess out...
He has peaked price wise at the moment, but with another monster try he can be gaining a bit more cash.
I think he does get better opportunities with JT on the team... I will hold him for now.

I might snatch the number 1 spot in L51 this week... Trophy
It might be short-lived, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
