I think he does get better opportunities with JT on the team... I will hold him for now.

I dont own Hess, as previously mentioned one of my big regrets, but his score on the weekend is probably the lowest he will go playing 80 mins.

Really don't see how he is an urgent trade.

Really want to downgrade Kelly next week so i can upgrade Elgey. Hope someone pops up as a good bye friendly CTR downgrade option, but not holding my breath.

What do you guys think Hayne's chances of playing Origin are?

It was not really a round to buy gun ctrs & wfb's
    Leilua 14, Tedesco 37, Croker 31, T-Trbo 33, C. Walker 41.

1 wfb that did very well was Nofoaluma scoring 60. Nofo may even be a better pick than Tedesco & dare I say it a better tackle breaking machine.

Musgrove, Yates, Moga, and CHN (missed switching to CHN because I was out and about and forgot) were all better than two of my reserve choices, haha. With George Burgess facing a long suspension I guess Musgrove comes back into being worth a hold.

Dirty with myself for not playing Frankenstein over Cotric Friday night.

Also, where there's smoke there's fire, so with the rumours of CHN coming into the 17 and Cartwright to play halves and TMM possibly out I should have just taken the punt on him instead of reserving KNIK.

Was forced into this on Friday night due to 3rd and 4th reserve options from Frankenstein, AFB, Cotric, Knik and CHN.

All up cost myself 65 points on two reserve choices. Also moved the captaincy of Smith to Fifita so there goes another approximate 25 points.

Still not too bad with 585/11 with captain played. Norman, Ponga, Wallace, Chricton, DWalker making up for Turbo, Cotric, Whitehead, McGuire, Fifita, Knik.

Smith, Kaufusi, SJ, RTS, Slater and McInnes to come. Can still crack 900 if I'm lucky.

You might need to wait till a viable option pops up in the next few weeks

I was a bit worried taking a punt on CHN as my last reserve over Cook when Cook scored 52 but the punt worked out thankfully with CHN out scoring Cook.
The weak areas of my team are I need a 2nd quality half as currently playing Lamb, my weak ctrs (Talakai, Idris, Kelly & Cotric) & I'll need a 3rd good scoring wfb when Coote returns meaning Ponga won't play.

If the team was picked today he wouldn't be there.

So he's got a month to prove himself as up to it. Surely they'll pick Tedesco at fullback though, meaning Hayne would have to play wing or centre if he makes it.

I think i can finally upgrade my centres this week and with BJ failing to hit his BE, I think its now or never.

Question is, who do i upgrade?

I have Cotric, Suli, Kelly and Talakai. Im thinking Talakai as he's almost at his peak value. The others still have relatively low BE's with Cotrix and Suli being DPP could help me down the track.

I can see why you're frustrated... it's ok when you make one bad reserve selection, but when there's multiple bad picks it really hurts, especially when some of your PODs (like Norman) do really well and you could have gained quite a few spots

If Ponga doesn't play this week if Coote returns then due to lack of funds I'll have to get Hayne as my wfb reserves are Abbey & R. Jennings. I'll have to sell R. Jennings as I don't have enough to sell Abbey with 1 trade.

I would trade out Kelly.... he relies too much on tries to get a good score
Talakai seems to score better without tries and would be good to keep for the Bye rounds

Nofo's having a blinder this season.

Never seen him fantasy relevant before or maybe my memory is weak.

Nofo had a great finish last season (bar round 26), he had a avg of 57 the last 6 games

Think I'll be doing the same, hopefully Hayne can fill that void efficiently.

What are your thoughts on Ponga playing over origin. Are you planning on keeping or upgrading?

Nofo was an excellent cash cow a few years back. I recall everyone (well all but 1 person) thought he was.

Re Ponga and Origin, I am hoping Coote is moved into the halves so Ponga can play fullback. Unfortunately its only likely to be for round 15 where I really need Ponga for rounds 13, 16 and definitely 19. Most people will too
