Anyways, I don't expect many people to agree with me on this (I've been around here long enough to know what most posters are like and if it works for them then that's awesome) but it's just the way I roll. Just creating some discussion and advocating exercising a bit of caution.

I think JDb has gone to 5/8 with no Whiddop or Duggan

Having JDB, Pearce, Aitken and McInnes from the get go means you'd be in a great position. Now though, two out of those three likely play SOO, one has gone a bit flat in the last few weeks and three have average byes

This HIA rule is ruining the game, some discretion needs to be applied on a case by case basis. I totally agree with what Gould just said.

SST looking like the goods. Another week or two of 80 if he can get it (bit of match fitness) and he'll be steaming.

Couldn't agree more Refs. You would expect him to come good (just as I expect Carty to improve) but would you grab him before he does so? Not instilling a great deal of confidence IMO

Unfortunately had JBromich since day one. (Based on last year’s form)
Just like Fifta suffering from back issues (and had a broken thumb)
But in saying that, also had Sburgus based on past form. You win some, you lose some/

He never plays 80 from memory. But he is a gun, love him.

I should emphasise that there is a lot of "ifs" that need to occur with field.
Mann and Nona are still on the cards (although Mann is helping Fields cause with his effort being thrown into this game). So I would only expect Field is in for a game or two at best (throw in the Rep round...)

Not sure mate, don't really expect him to play 80, would just be nice for him to get two or three tough games at 80 mins to get him up to speed quick. Then if he plays 40 or so I'd be ok with it. Just such a potent looking player. Will be interesting to see how he is utilized. If he goes 50+ he'll be hard to look past I think.

I've held him for 8 bloody weeks in ultimate so hoping he now starts coming good!
