Before this round I was doing as I suspect most were, holding him until he plays round 12. But now I am considering whether his $ (which I assume has peaked in the short term) could be put to better use. He is typically not in my 17 though so I guess that prefaces much of what I say seeing as it then becomes simply a trade-off between the extra points he might bring in round 12 (perhaps 30 to 35) versus using all the cash you could get from cashing him out from now. The later seems the most sensible option for me at least.

Sounds incredibly risky to bring in CHN when Harris is just outside the squad and Carty could move back to the 2RF as well if TMM returns.

I know. bounce Even if everyone is fit, he could still jag a bench spot. I know he got dropped last week for Browne, but it's possible. Probably stupid though, but I'm prepared to trade if I can get another couple of the price rises.

Where's WT Winfield? I thought you said there was never a contest between these two....and that Brailey was always a better option? I bit my tongue until now.

Two weeks ago a few of my trades would have based around Yates and Stone losing cash, now I'm using them as reserves and haven't really got any trades to make...

That's not to say I don't have areas that need work, it's more I have no money until I cash these two out.

I'm thinking of doing the cash out now. Is it silly to bring in Capewell? He should see significant game time in the forwards during SOO. For Graham I'd assume?

Edit: Does anyone see a better option?

Im currently running Cotric, Idris, Kelly, Moga in ctrs.

With only 20k ITB. I feel like my hands a pretty tied atm, no one at the same price worth trading to, no real cows beneath. In order to generate funds id need to make a cull else where. Which would involve selling CHN, Stone, Kafusi, Ponga, Wallace. None of which are an option.

    Dunno what to do.

Yeagh, not sure mate. I'm comfortable having a dabble answering Qs based on numbers but in terms of players and playing time, I dont have that kind of knowledge. On the face of it though he seems like a good option if and only if he gets those 2 bye round games in the forwards. In the backs he's too much money IMO for too few points to warrant the trade.

Fai was a name being thrown around earlier, and I would have thought Elliot at a similar price would offer better risk reward in terms of his certainty of position. But as I say, best ask the experts on this one as I am very keen to hear what others think too.

Are CTR/WFB the only option? eg trade out Moga + Kelly for *gun* + cheapie?

Might just have to take a punt on a cheapie. That Fuimaono could be close to a game soon, but other than that its hard to guess who may get some game time during bye period. There probably won't be many in round 12 anyway.

I'd try and keep Idris personally.

Siro to CHN seems like such a suicide, desperate play. Siro to Stone seems a lot safer and banks a shitload more cash.

    Who would be your priority?

    - Trading in Graham this week. (Trades out Sironen this week, keeps Elgey.)

    or

    - Trade in Gallen next week. (Trades out Elgey this week, keeps Sironen.)

Was planning on Mcguire>Norman but would mean taking Sione out of CTR and having to play 2 from Cotric Suli Talakai. McGuire>Stone gives me heaps of $$$ but is he too risky not knowing what situation with Hodko

Oh lord, it's actually looking a bit like a train wreck. Need to trade down someone, but for who? Needs another gun half. Or perhaps a forward upgrade. Or perhaps a centre upgrade...

Both Siro and Elgey will lose cash. Probably both as bad as one another. I'm looking at Gallen hey, he should be solid across the origin period. I'll probably hold off until after the rep round, but with Gallen, there's really no risk getting him this week as he'll just have the week off and probably just be all over the bloody radio.

Who would you trade for both Siro and Elgey?

What about Ryan Simpkins instead of Stone? I think he's about 7k cheaper.
