Also heard a commentator on the weekend say something about Gallen not playing Origin is not a sure thing (there are some "whispers doing the rounds" or something along those lines).

Has anyone heard anything - To be fair I think Gallen's form has been outstanding and he would deserve being picked for NSW. I wonder if Daley can convince him to go round 1 more year?

Anyway, my 13 for NSW would be Jake Trobjevic (think he is just ahead of JDB and in much better form than Merrin, but we will see).

I wouldn't trade in Yates, he was on the outer until injuries struck, but Stone looks okay. He is an option for me for Siro.

Gallen looks like he's playing City Country. Article on Fox says Fittler asked him to play next weekend, so I haven't read anything about origin, but nothing would surprise.

Wouldn't it be a kick in the guts for Gallen owners if after pledging he wouldn't play origin he then changes his mind & plays origin. A lot of people started with him on this premise. Gallen is actually playing very well atm & would be first picked if he changed his mind & decided he would play origin.

    @Random for Sash's team

Is it time to upgrade Winterstein? We can bring in pretty much anyone right?

or downgrade Winterstein and upgrade Hampton - bring in Norman/CWalker/ARey for byes?

I agree with bringing in a gun half for Sash's team

I've gone Hess to Surgess and Asiata to Stone. Asiata has just about peaked in his price rises (had him from round 1) and need a player who is going to earn some cash. Don't fail me Stone!

    Option 1:

I can do Bromwich -> Brown and Cotric -> Croker with Sash's team.

    Option 2:

Hampton -> Norman and Winterstein -> Tualau leaving with 97k in the warchest.

I just did some quick sums for those still chasing $. If on average your starting 17 is worth $480k each, then you will need 8.16m to fill it. If you fill the remaining 8 with NPR's worth $145k each then you will need another 1.16m.

Ideally you'd need at least $9.32m in team value for this scenario

Any Para supporters here? Chances out of 10 Folau gets a run at C to cover Jennings over origin?

I would not be doing too much with that team at the moment...

Seems to have all bases covered

Cotric or Suli (or Moga) downgrade to fund Hampton to Norman?? Only seems to be lacking a decent second half.

I'm not a parra supporter but Takarangi, French and Robson(lol) is due back in round 12. I'd imagine those combo's is enough to cover

And potentially Moses leaving Gutho to fit in somewhere too.

Isnt there too much doubt around bringing Stone in? Doubts around minutes and job security? Last week smat played in the halves and barnett got injured. Would he normally play around 50 minutes rather than 80?
Plus Pauli and Wardle are getting back to full fitness.

I guess we had the same doubts around Ponga and CHN and they turned out ok!

I would be very wary about bringing in Arey now. If he's fit, he will definitely play origin and will miss plenty of weeks. If he isn't fit, he ain't playing for you. I state he will play origin because it is all about repeat sets, in one game last year he kicked more repeat sets than Pearce did in 6 years. Daley is loyal also. He is the best pressure kicker in the game.

I wonder if Reynolds signing will put off the likes of TMM doing a mid season switch meaning Moses stays at Tigers for the rest of the season

Here is my team at the moment.
Sold CHN too early for Whitehead but apart from that it is looking alright minus DCE's dip in form.

What is everyone's view of K Pritchard for Brailey??? Haven't seen that as too popular of a trade here.

Also with Hess, are people jumping off the wagon now? I have 200kish to upgrade to pretty much any FRF/2RF - was thinking Gallen or J Graham would be a great pickup!
