Here is my team at the moment.
Sold CHN too early for Whitehead but apart from that it is looking alright minus DCE's dip in form.

What is everyone's view of K Pritchard for Brailey??? Haven't seen that as too popular of a trade here.

Also with Hess, are people jumping off the wagon now? I have 200kish to upgrade to pretty much any FRF/2RF - was thinking Gallen or J Graham would be a great pickup!

Just out of curiosity where are you ranked? If I'm beating you I'm doing well because your team is far better than mine - I'm around 600th. You have a lot more money than me due to having got on the Hess and Brailey trains I guess.

I'm 2539th, have had some very unlucky choices for the four reserves every week with the revolving doors of Moga/Cotric/Suli/Jennings and my 2RF Crying or Very sad but at the end of the day they alll made $$$ even as NPR's Very Happy

This year has definitely been a hard year for the patient and non trade-whore players - I'm lucky I'm not one.

Who would have expected all of Wallace, Hess, Slater, Ponga, CHN, Chricton to have gunned it and tuned out keeper scores week after week.
The seasoned players would have missed a fair few of these guys and be back in the chasing pack.

Once I missed Hess, I was like I'm just going to jump on the latest player and go with the crowd. Worked out alright so far.

Would just like to mention, particularly for newer posters, that sometimes posts go unanswered but please don't feel ignored. Sometimes you can post and get nothing, sometimes you can post and get 4 or 5 replies.

Sometimes you may not get an answer because no one has an answer; sometimes you may not get an answer because it gets missed; sometimes you won't get an answer because people are daunted by your team (insert me into people here).

A good example is Random looking for answers for Sash's team. Random is the forum Godfather and still got little to no feedback first time asking; then he got a flurry and probably regrets asking now, haha.

No-one seems perturbed by not getting answers, but just in case y'all were maybe feeling ignored or not valued on here.

This is interesting, and is why guns and cows is always the best strategy. I haven't had much choice as to who I reserve because I've always tried to have as many guns as possible, and only 4-5 worthy reserves.
Been lucky jagging a few reserve scores such as Jacks 37 off bench, D Edwards 37 when Coote came back for a week (Ponga missing a week), Yates 30+ scores etc, playing CHN from the get go each time he's named (except last week), Frank Wintersteins scores and even Elgey when he scored 30s.

Consider myself quite patient and no trade rage this season relatively

    Had Wallace from start
Slater and CHN came in after Rd3 for Elgey and I Papalii
Dalker to Crichton after Rd 5 when he was 271k
Spent days deciding up to the last minute whether to go with Ponga or Abbey and went Abbey unfortunately

I consider these non-volatile common sense trades

I made a comment earlier on trading brailey to pritchard and the reasons why i'm doing it this week.

I reckon Hess can be a season long keeper as long as JT is healthy. JT will feed him alot more quality ball for him to rampage on.
I don't blame anyone jumping off him for a more consistent scorer though

You have lots of options to improve your team. I think Brailey, Yates and Winterstein are holds for this week. Your other forwards are keepers or holds until closer to round 12.

Kelly and Suli could go, who you get is the big question, would be inclined to go Cody Walker and a downgrade (maybe even Hayne if the money fits). Allows you to have cover for Ponga and move Cody Walker up to halves when you want to cut Elgey or have to get Hampton out.

Forwards options would be JGraham/N Brown/Tolman I've leaned towards getting Nathan Brown for now.

EDIT: Kelly and Suli to CWalker and Hayne leaving 24K. Hayne should make cash. and Walker will be very handy over byes and DPP

Yeah thats why i decided on jacks to normam and double trading this week....was hoping not to but with norman in i am happy with squad.

Im trading in Haynes for Uate. I'll leave Hayne as a NPR to build up cash while ponga play out his last remaining days and swap them over. Thoughts on this? This will leave me with 20 trades left for the season which is worrying

To my fellow jwallace owners. Are you trading him out if he is picked for origin? I know he only misses 1 extra game on paper. But in round 13, 16 and 19 he backs up on saturday, friday and saturday respectively. So turn arounds of 3,2 and 3 days.... i dont see him keeping on with the big minutes during this time. Thinking of trading to brown, surgess or graham might be the way to go

I have the cash to upgrade Lamb to any gun half this week but I want to wait until blues announce the halves pairing. Am I being too silly to wait it out like this and miss the points production of the gun half? Ideally i'd prefer having Pearce or Arey for better byes over SJ who I'm not convinced can provide the points explosion with Foran in the halves and Kearny looking to make the Warriors play less adlib footy

hayne could be a bit of a liability in your starting 17 if (when) he plays origin. im going either hayne or cwaalker for ponga. but walker would be the 5th rabbit in my team! how many rabbits is too many rabbits?

Good point, didn't think of that - that's why you're better than me at this! Hopefully Moses does stay, I still have the Guth bleeding cash and losing points.

I hope jai field gets picked today! He's very elusive and has speed to burn. Have had him since the start so would be great if he can make some cash!!

I would be so gutted if Jai Field got a run.

It was out of him and Fogerty as to who Frawley came in for. I picked Field to trade out for no real reason. Worse still is how depressing Frawleys last two performances have been.
