I think the more likely scenario would be the quick tap and bomb if that is the route they were going to take.

The Notes specifically mention that the kicker can regather the ball after it has been kicked.

When you kick for touch and th ball doesn't go out, it is 'in play' under any circumstances. It happens every week. Stop talking with authority about subjects you aren't an authority on. Stick to fantasy.

Of course they can regather if it's still in the field of play

Ahh fuck off you old flog.

My only argument earlier was that if a player is kicking for touch, no trick shots, no bombs, no aiming for posts, just going for touch for all to see, and he fails and subsequently turns over possession then it should be classified as an error.

No need for a tap. Just kick it high and chase. Completely legal. It's a free kick. If it goes out, great. Take a tap then. It's certainly not an error under the rules, even though the intent may be different. If the ball is in play, it's in play. Simple.

whats the rule with the 20m restart? I have been trying to find it in the book, I am sure it is something like if you kick it out instead of tapping you get it back.... or am I confusing this with the 20m drop out?

And it has always been called a 'free kick'.

    Just FYI.

After the rep round I think I'm going to go Vaughan > Brown and ET > Eels, Rabbits, Shark bye cheapie.

    That will give me roughly:

    12 - 12
    13 - 20
    15 - 11
    16 - 20
    18 - 12
    19 - 20

Is that the bare minimum numbers wise? First time bye planner

I don't respond well to random people trying to talk down to me, let alone on a forum. Nothing to do with being right or wrong.

This round deserves a fortnight of TRADE RAGE Excited

Oh dear. 2 weeks of trading and reversing is going to turn me into a crazy person, even though I'm pretty set on what I want to do already.
I'm sure Vaughan, CWalker and Crichton will see themselves evicted from my team at some stage, even though I plan on keeping them. That'll teach 'em not to give me such rubbish again tongue

Now back to fantasy...how the fuck does this happen. I've got the ghost of Laurie Nichols in 3 H2Hs?

He got double points for his VC and C? I win them all if Fifita loses his double points. Wtf?

    That's @No Worries

There is a bit of this being reported on FB as well, a few match ups where VC' are being doubled. See what happens after Lockout ends.

Can that be enough of the debate please. If you want to continue to discuss it, keep it to PM's and out of the thread.

First time I am really bye planning. Pre round 12 I am aiming to trade Hess to Surgess, slater to guths. Also considering smith to friend if Surgess turns into a solid captaincy option. Then Brailey to Mcinnes round 13.
    would give me

    12 - 16
    13 - 18
    15 - 12
    16 - 19
    18 - 10
    19 - 16

Want to try and manage to offload cotric/bodene/whitehead between rounds 13 and 15 for Debalin/JBrom/any playing ctr/wfb

This old flog will be happy to discuss it in person if hero wants. I don't take kindly to be being told to fuck off by some keyboard wanker.

Anyway, goodnight now. I'm probably getting a ban. Very Happy
