He is very highly regarded and I think he signed for the next couple of seasons. Souths nabbed him from Parra if I'm not mistaken.

Does Sutton score better in the 1/2s than the Forwards?

I think he may start off the bench not in the 13. From memory I think he was a star in the under 20's & they have big wraps on him. Played Junior Kangaroos, NSW Under 20's & Australian Schoolboys.

What's the logic behind trading Mannering especially to someone with no real job security? I was considering a Mannering to Nathan Brown trade which has more upside but I decided to keep the trade because Manners is a keeper and he's not out long enough to justify a trade for me.

I don't see why you would sell Mannering & Fuimaono is better in your ctrs. Sione to Gray sounds too sideways.

Well that locks in my Idris to Fuimaono trade i think. Even if it doesn't end up happening he's close enough that he might get a run, basement price and dpp. Allows me to get brown in.

I'd be tempted by Manners to Brown...
If Manners is out for the next two weeks plus he misses rounds 15 and 18 that's 4 of the next 9 rounds. Also Browns BE is quite good this week.
If you have enough trades and don't have more pressing issues in your team it's not the worst thing you could do.
Edit: Actually taking into account Browns two byes it's only the extra 2 games he misses over Brown...but hey, Warriors do have shit byes so that's something

Ponga and Leary drop out of the Cowboys 21.

I'm thinking the same. A decent cash out option would be much welcomed.

Someone asked a while back how Barba was going in France... He's just been sacked by Toulon. Not for any naughty reason, just not needed, apparently. Played a total of 96 minutes for them.
Might be on his way back to the NRL. Which club needs a fullback in 12+ weeks time?

Looks like I'll be selling Ponga even though I'd like to hold him:
My ctr's = Kelly the only one playing (Talakai, R. Jennings, Idris out) but I'd rather not play him
My wfb's = RTS, Slater, Cotric playing (Abbey, Ponga out)
I will sell Ponga & Idris to get 2 good ctr's.

Not surprised. The thing people dont realise too when they see a he signed a huge 2 year mulitmillion dollar deal is that he wont see any of that cash now he has been given the arse. The French rugby contracts work very very differently

Cotric, SMat, Idris, Moga
Slater, RTS, Hayne, Suli, Abbey
Lamb to Frawley for me, I'm waiting on Munster, which could prove a mistake but just not keen on him having so many attacking stats when at half those couple of games. If he was playing fullback I wouldn't hesitate. And not expecting more than 25's from Frawley either
