Did anyone hear what Cootes injury was? An ankle? Kinda zoned out lol. Glad I held ponga but it didn't look too serious when he walked off.

Im gonna put it out there. as a non morgan/frawley owner i think those try assists should be revoked.
I dont believe you can award an assist off a defensive players clear fumble, both times with hands involved.

Hooper calling it a "huge performance" by Hess and "walters cannot ignore him now" for origin. Turn it up. Hess did well to follow the ball and fall on it for two tries but aside from that you wouldnt have noticed he was on the field.

Bugger, traded in Frawley. Should have known not to go after Bulldogs players.

Nice little surprise with Elliot. Didn't expect him to get another 80mins let alone over 30 without any real attacking stats.

The idea being. I could buy Spina (or anyone) after this game and before lockout and their price rise.
It means getting to watch rookies or players at their current price but the gamble of buying before team lists. Some merit, or flawed idea?
CNK a good example of the gamble. Might like what you see from his first outing so get him at 138k then not named Tuesday, or you get a major injury elsewhere in your team and don't have 2 moves to fix it
So if Cody Walker goes nuts tomorrow and scores 100, everyone can bring him in before his price goes up?
Conversely, if someone gets injured 1st minute, could you ditch them before they drop cash?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 39
Just came back from a morning full or meetings so apologies if this has been answered, but Croker looks to me likes he's had a bit of a niggle troubling him since his return from injury, not convinced he was fully over it (in fact when he gave up the kicking to Sezer one week Ricky mentioned he hadn't practiced kicking at training all that week in the post game presser). Whether he's over that or not with the added week off, that's the decision/guess you'd have to make.White Lightning wrote:
Sorry mate I meant with 1 trade. Do you like. If he's going to get back to his best the Knights are the team for him to do it you would think.

SO...little off topic I know.....and I know it's been talked about briefly, but is there no captains loophole anymore?
At the moment I've got an "S" beside everyone except my captain (Cam) and VC (Surgess)...I can switch other people around from the reserves bench to the playing 17 but I can't touch the C and VC
No more loophole then?

Decided to go with my trade of Yates to Elliot, let's hope it pays off! Looked pretty good tonight, dogs are clueless in attack though so he didn't get many opportunities

Frawley on my bench, but I gotta agree, I think it's a joke. For them to award those and not that Norman one against the Cows a fortnight ago is seriously laughable.
