For me the plan is to grind out every point and cent from him and then upgrade to a Gun end 19.

@Warrios - did I read correctly u gonna drop Elliot after 13? I don't know the make up of your team, but I would have thought Elliot is good until 18 unless something changes. It looks like Des is keen for him to play 80 each week and when JJ and Klemer are away (and perhaps when they are backing up) you'd think 80 is pretty close to a sure thing. If thats the case Elliot should still be making money right up to 18 as well.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 39
By the way, are there any concerns from Lolo owners right now? or perhaps more likely from people who were looking to pick him up at rnd 13?
The guy was averaging ~71 for his first 4 games and over his last 4 'only' ~48.
an average of 48 would currently rank him as about 14th in terms of 2RFs.
I had originally planned to bring him in as a gun keeper from 13 but Im starting to get a little concerned that his scoring without JT is starting to tend more towards his previous years fantasy form.

Nrl.com late mail suggests what has been spoken about already - MWZ a chance to play
- TF coming onto the bench with Burns making way, Gray in for Talakai
- CHN may come into the starting side
- Hodko maybe in for Feeney da Gawd
- Manners out
- Jimmy the Jet maybe in
- French maybe in with Guth back to Half pushing Fresh Prince out

That being said, MWZ or Fuimaono a better cashout?

Not sure mate, it might make more sense to ride his 65 and mid 30s scores and then pick up a fallen gun like Tohu Harris/JBrom etc. Will assess week to week but not going to just hold for round 18 for the sake of 1 round of 35 points if it makes sense to move him on. Don't see him as a keeper and if Tohu gets limited minutes for the next 2-3 games it might make sense to move him on. All depends who my other second rowers are through origin. Could be around $320K after round 12 at which time the jump to Tohu could be 100K and worth it for 15 points more on average per week?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 39
I'm just putting my upcoming plans down on paper so I can visualise this a bit better and hopefully have some criticism from others.
21 Trades remaining, $76k in bank. The team is
CS9, KPritchard
Fifita, JWallace, FKaufusi, Tetevano
Gtrain, JDB, Chrichton, Whitehead, CHN, AElliot
Norman, Munster, Niko, Frawley
BJ, TTurbo, Moga, Idris
RTS, Slater, Hayne, Suli, Abbey
R11 Trades:
Fifita to JGraham + ~$45k
If CHN increases to around $380k, i should have enough in bank to upgrade him to Surgess
R12 Trades
CS9 to Macca
Idris to hopefully a $138k newbie playing R12 +$80k
Slater to AReynolds via Munster (I may need to dump Suli instead of Idris if more cash is required)
This will give 16,12,11,16 players in round 12,15,18,19
I'm not sure yet if Macca is the right hooker to trade CS9 to. Concerned with Niko taking minutes from him once Hunt is back. Ideally I'd want to trade in a permanent hooker in round 12 so once origin is over, I only need to upgrade KPritchard back to CS9.

I've been thinking about this and I think MWZ might be a better long term option. Been brought over mid year and straight into the starting side, and with Idris out, just keep that jersey all year you'd think. Fui obviously has the byes if he keeps his spot and DPP but we all know about Madge.

Yes, i definitely think mwz is a better option due to the situation. It kinda fell into his lap with Idris hurting himself. TF is a beast but he won't be getting the game time.

If MWZ becomes a long term option would he be a better trade in for Hampton than say someone like Nu Brown who will play more bye rounds (If he's even selected that is)? The cash making ability would outweigh the extra round played right?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 39
Morning lads,
After some opinions, with Cody Walker supposedly moving to fullback, would it be better to play him in my 13 and leave KNik to fight it out for a spot in my reserves?
If I do play Walker, three of my reserves will be McGuire, Chricton and F.Kaufusi, so for my last one who do I pick out of CHN, Brailey, KNik and I'll even throw Hayne in there? Thanks lads.
On a side note, anyone else having trouble with the army banner covering up a portion of the fantasy website on the right hand side, really annoying! Only noticed it on my phone when accessing the player stats last night, it covers up some of the stats on the right hand side.

MWZ is a WFB only.

Always have the players playing first in your 13 if you can. Leave players playing late in the round on the bench just incase something happens and then you may have an option to switch the R to someone else. I don't think you could not play Walker could you? I wouldn't, he'd be in my 13 every week.
And yes, that army banner was pissing me off big time this morning.

I'm thinking your Round 11 trades look premature. But I guess if you are deadest keen on getting rid of Smith, Fifita, and Slater then before round 12 it would need to happen so 1 has to go round 11. I'm toying with keeping at least 1 of these guys, but if 1 has to go it would be slater first I reckon. All three miss 4 games across the period instead of the usual 2. Cody Walker seems better priced than Arey atm so not sure whether Arey is better value for money.
Just imagine an injury to graham(round 11) or surgess or gallen (round 10 or 11) having pulled the trigger. Don't have any of these guys yet and graham will be priority no1. Just tossing up whether to wait until after round 13 on the other two given they play the same amount of games as most who miss round 12 up until round 15. However Fifi to Gallen/Surgess does make a bit of sense I guess for me.

Yes I'd use CNK to move things around. Point is it would it be a good trade or not

I don't see the point of trading guys like Smith, Fifita etc. until round 12. Any earlier is definitely unwarranted IMO. I know price comes into it but I don't think it outweighs early trade outs.

Ah, that makes sense. I don't own Hampton but he scored a solid 27 last night, but yeah, if becomes that single digit AE again it would be a handy trade if you didn't have others that need moving on first that could net more cash.

Look at them reserves! The rest of us should give up now and come back next year!
and yes that banner is a bastard. Do we have to join the army to get rid of that banner? Cause I'll do it.

Thats a good idea with upgrading Slater next week over the other boys. Also gives me a chance to see NSW lineup before making a decision on the others.
I prefer to trade in keepers at the $400k+ price range so I don't think I'd be happy with having Cody there til the end of the season. Arey I'd be happy with as long as he is injury free
