We're only fantasy players, they won't give a shit about us,but if I was relying on stats because I worked at one of the clubs, I would want to see correct stats not quick stats

Yeah I don't think he had any other choice but to change his stance because his contract would of been downgraded & at the end of the day it's all about the money no matter how religious you are.
One thing that annoys me about players in general is this continuous line that gets thrown out "there's too many games, the players are too tired & they need more rest" Well phuck me they're getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to play a sport that they love. They don't have to perform a normal job for minimum wage & in some intances work 2 jobs just to make ends meet thereby working 60+ hours a week.

Would using "ad blocker" help. Google it & I think you just download it & it prevents all ads appearing.

Same issue, just sort the players differently (Surname, $$ etc), so the player you need appears at the bottom of the list - problem solved.

In this day an age where stats are used to in advanced analytics in things such as measuring a players performance, in player contract negotiations, professional gambling etc. its not good enough that we have this amateur mob who have no idea what they're doing.

Will 119k be enough to pull off the following trades in round 12? Fifi to Brown, JWal/Faufusi to Graham, Slater to Walker.

Determines whether I make a Hampton to MWZ or Field trade this week to free up more cash.

Yeah round 12 I will be going Fifita to Graham, Slater to C. Walker & weighing up Smith to Friend. With Pearce & Cordner playing origin I can see Friend playing 80 minutes & making a thousand tackles a game like he did last year when both Pearce & Cordner were out.

Why would he want a job like mine when he can have a job like his and not play Sundays if he doesn't want to?

With DFS becoming popular there is certainly a big push to get stats out quickly.

Here is a doco on stats collection in AFL, would be pretty similar in NRL

Here is the related NRL doco

It was his first year at the dogs and they were paying him unders, they allowed it. Now he's getting his backended year + he's playing for another contract it just ain't happening. Hopoate didn't backflip on shit, the club told him he's playing Sunday's.

@Loomer Just gotta be careful not to inflate those numbers by counting that 19 you have in there. Remember you can only put 17 on the filed in any one week!

Best to use a bye planner that takes care of all that for you, and even better use a planner that will give you total points rather than total players!

I don't want to be all SJW here, but he has every right to not play on sundays if its religious conviction. (The reason we have a Monday to Friday working week actually goes hand in hand with this)

Employers of any type of job are required to make reasonable adjustment for religion, disability, gender all those sorts of things. Working a 9-5 job doesn't change your right to make these sort of demands.

The issue is you cant pick and choose when it suits you and when it doesn't. If you do start to pick and chose you run the risk of looking like a fucking hypocritical douchebag.

Bulldogs should make a stand, cut his salary by a certain percentage and not allow him to play sundays, in line with his previous demands. That way, they are being "PC" and tolerant of religious difference, and in the process likely discourage others from trying to pull the religion card.
