Read the latest about Calker
a) Putting the W in is not much effort. "Calker" is terrible
b) What do you think is going to happen? Souths won't actually be letting him go because he asked for it. Does he even have a potential new club? As he's on contract next year he can't even talk to other clubs without Souths permission.
I guess he could do a Moses and just stop playing and force Souths hand. But he is hardly in a position of strength here, just angling for a but more money.

Does that June 30 deadline still apply for those mid season movers?

Ideal situation could be different for every coach IMO.
The closer you are to your final 17/18 would determine the "idealness" of the trades left

He deserves more money to be fair considering the current market. I'd assume Souths have him for peanuts

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
What do I do here;
Smith Brailey
Fifita Wallace Kaufusi Yates
Surgess Brown Bodene Crichton CHN Elliot
Norman Niko Frawley Lamb
SMat Turbo Idris Kelly
RTS Slater Cotric Suli Ponga
22 trades and 112K. I hate trying to make decisions in situations like this. Thinking;
Turbo - Croker
Idris - Fui
If Hunt doesn't come back, and I'll just play Lamb. Want to cash out Idris and Fui looking like a brilliant option.
Leave Norman and Kaufusi for next week to go maybe Walker/SJ and Graham. Will have to play Lamb and Frawley if Hunt is back and don't trade Norman. The Walker news is a worry, and Reynolds has become so injury prone. Munster can probably wait for 13, and SJ looking like the best option but won't know about Niko until after Warriors play.
Fuck this game. Any opinions? Just trade Norman for SJ and Turbo for Croker or someone and be done with it?
Also, as a South Sydney fan, they should just pay Walker whatever the fuck he wants, seriously.

Depends how screwed you are for rounds 13 and 16.
Who are your other halves, (or can you send Walker down to the WFB)
As long as you can handle Souths' byes, then nothing inherently wrong with it

Depends on your team situation. Me personally I'd look at going in to rd20/21 will my final team and at least 5 trades(hopefully)

Agree with Wolfking, Souths should pay Walker what he wants. He debuted last year at 26 and been sensational ever since. He can't be on good money so certainly deserves a big upgrade............
Also what do you guys think of Robbie Rochow. now as a starting Front rower, scored a reasonable 44 and Gurgess still has 2 weeks to go for his suspension and Jason Clarke now injured, he could keep that starting role for a while yet and be a good option. Maybe????

Sounds like it Rochows spot to lose. He only played 50 minutes odd I think.

Walker only re-signed (for 3 years) in the middle of last year. The Broncs had a fair crack at him and after Keary signed with the Roosters Walker got a good deal from all reports, certainly a big upgrade from his initial contract.
It's either a storm in a tea cup as Rabbit suggests or maybe with the crazy half money being thrown around he wants his fair share. All this contract back flipping and mid season transfers is a bit of a blight on the game, not sure what the solution is but something should be done.

Walker has already upgraded his contract after debiting. If he wanted to upgrade again he should only have signed a one year deal.
How good do you think Rochow's job security is? He's currently started 0 games at prop, in a team that rotates it's forward pack almost weekly. Don't trust him long term. Could just be another Musgrove

Sorry, Just got back online.
Why not both?
I've got James and will keep him, but I want Taupau also. Unfortunately I think my timing will be off and I won't be able to afford him. He's peeked too early obviously to be a useful pickup now. Plus I am still yet to get Graham in.

This is exactly a reason I gave earlier why I'm getting Kapow this week

He will drop in price I can guarantee that, look at Vaughan went well past the $500,000 mark and now back under $480,000 after a 74Loomer wrote:

You are essentially paying a premium for someone who will come back down, so you get a decent rise this week but you cop his sub standard scores moving forward, unless of course he continues to score well past the 60 mark....
