Talakai injured or dropped, worth trading for fui or leaving for round 12 and trading mck instead

Dropped. Won't get back in unless there is no one else left.

After this week Taupau will be same price as Fifita, after Graham would you get in Taupau over Fifita?
or would you get Fifita in and put Taupau in 2RF?
Fantasy sense wouldn't say getting Taupau before Fifita, but I fucking hate Fifita and I'll be pretty sore to have to bring him in at any point (in my illustrious 1.5 yr fantasy career).
I remember reading at one point last year, that this game is part sense and part feel - bring in players that will see you be successful but also have some fun backing players you want to (this is why no-one has Maloney!!!)
In short - as at right now, yes I would bring in Armlegs over Fifita.

Might as well trade talakai now then and leave mck for 13, although with today's team news mck looks on the outer too. Cheers wolfking

He will drop in price I can guarantee that, look at Vaughan went well past the $500,000 mark and now back under $480,000 after a 74
You are essentially paying a premium for someone who will come back down, so you get a decent rise this week but you cop his sub standard scores moving forward, unless of course he continues to score well past the 60 mark....
Ah -completely forgot about Vaughn. As at now I'd get Graham, Vaughan, Taupau then Fifita. But I haven't even thought about this in terms of my plans cause there's Origin to get in the way of Fifita and Vaughan.
I've got no idea - she'll be right on the day.

Just with the Kapow discussion-isn't he more like a low 40's player when he plays backrow? If he stays at prop then that's a win, but I personally can't entertain a poor byes player at the moment. I hope it works out Loomer, good to see the risk taking.

I did Idris to Calker straight after lockout lifted. Might wait a week and see how this news pans out.

Was using Vaughan as an example of highs and lows mate.BroncHose wrote:

Same scenario, Taupau he has just ripped of an ungodly R8 67 R9 64 and R10 89 for a 73.3 3 round average. his previous 4 games average for R1,R4 R5 and R6 was 43 (39, 51,52 & 30) unless you think he can maintain that 56 average moving forward he will be available cheaper at some point
In his minutes and the way he scores his points I just don't think its worth paying $500,000 for right now.

Would having all 4 of ARey,CWalker,Munster and SJ be ideal leading into the byes? I can have all of them in my team by round 13

Do it if the rest of your squad is still balanced. Nothing wrong with playing 2 Halves as Reserves. Imagine if they all had big games on the same weekend!

Yeah, if for whatever reason Walker doesn't stay a good option to trade in then I'll just grab Munster I think.
Reason being that I'm pretty set for R12 and 13, but 15 I was looking shocking. While I realise Kaufusi to Surgess is one for one for R15, it had to be done

How do I decide who to sell out of McGuire and Fifita?

Bah.. Cook or Yates for last reserve?
I am holding Norman until hes back. I owned him from the beginning and he'll still be the focal point of attack when Moses is in the team I believe. Hopefully a bunch jump off him and he'll have a low ownership.
I too am trading in Kapow this week. I'll trade in Graham next week for Kaufusi. Then look at getting rid of Cook then I should be happy

In an ideal world my team would look like this for round 13
Smith McInnes
Graham Brown Ese ese Fai
JDB Surgess Gallen Crichton Elliot Fuimaono
SJ ARey Munster Hampton
BJ Aubusson Kelly 138k cash out for Idris
RTS Slater CWalker Hayne Phythian
Of course I will also look at maybe trading Slater instead over Origin but that's just a rough plan I have

I like you
Not like these other guys with their "choose 1 of these 3 awesome players to be my last reserve". Norman has really ruined everything.
If I do the trade I really want to do, my last reserve is also either Cook or Yates. Who the hell knows really?
Were Cook's low minutes because it was against the Tigers? The only 2 games where Cook has played less than 40 minutes have both been against the Tigers. I don't know if that's a coincidence or if it's because of the Robbie factor, and Cook could get his normal game time back this week. But they did win so maybe not.
I'm leaning towards Yates. At least he should score 30.

Walker has already upgraded his contract after debiting. If he wanted to upgrade again he should only have signed a one year deal.
How good do you think Rochow's job security is? He's currently started 0 games at prop, in a team that rotates it's forward pack almost weekly. Don't trust him long term. Could just be another Musgrove
I didn't know that Walker already upgraded his contract. Thanks Milchcow.
That's the trouble with Rochow ( job security ). I remember a couple of years ago, he was pretty good at the knights when he got the minutes ( I think he was an edge 2nd rower at the time ). Was looking for a cheapish FRF and came across him and thought maybe.............
