To me buying Taupau now is like getting Tedesco when he was well over $500k or Taumalolo/Vaughan paying a huge premium for someone who can't sustain that 3/5 round average...no way he can sustain those wild TB and offload numbers, he will finish around the 50 avg mark and his byes are shit. If you want him for final 17 for his explosive scoring potential I'd personally wait until R16Loomer wrote:

that was it mate, over alst 2 seasons his average has been pretty much the exact same, some huge scores with some pretty mediocre ones, he doesn't have the tackle counts to post consistent scores when he doesnt bust 10 tackls a game and get off 6 offloads
