Yeah in that case best not to go into any more detail, too easy to be wrongfully tarred as people go off early.

I do hope the check in wasn't a result of anything else other than personal problems, some might hide under the ruse of an action and blame it on mental health, I hope this wouldn't be the case

Kenty on 360 was pretty adament that there was nothing more to the story, it's just he's dealing with depression.
Props to Kimmoley coming on League Life too and talking. Poor fella, that was a man destroyed right there, I really felt for him, she obviously was his world and now you could see he is totally broken. Hope time can ease the pain a little for him.

I only watched the first 10-15 minute of League Life - but gee Kimmorley looked shattered. Must be so tough for him, can only imagine what he is going through

Fuck man that Kimmorley stuff was heart breaking to watch. I cannot fathom that amount of grief and having to put on a brave face for 4 little girls. I wish I could do something to help him.

Who do you guys think is the best option out of J. Roberts, M. Aubusson, W. Hopoate? I can afford any.. just not sure who to go with.
Already have leilua, cotric and Fuimaono.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
Hey guys just thought I'd write out my short term plan for some critique/opinion
Looking at 5 trades before rd12 kicks off, currently have my eyes on Surgess, Gallen, Graham, Walker and Hoppa.
Have 24 trades and 128k so trades will look like this:
RD11: Kaufusi > Surgess, Turbo > Hoppa
RD12: Fifita > Graham, CHN > Gallen, Norman > Walker
With the cash I have atm i calculate It'll be a close call but I'm hoping the fantasy gods can smile on me there.
Thoughts on these trades lads, any other options I'm missing? Was keen on Fui but I chose MWZ last week so made the choice then to miss that boat I feel.
Thanks a lot chaps

Sounds like you already have two solid centres for round 12/13. I would sit tight and take a look at Cotric to a centre that plays two of 15/18/19 in a few weeks times

They are all solid trades. I don't think that Fui is a must have or anything like that so don't stress about missing him. All the trades look to be upgrades, though I don't like the Hopoate pick. I think you could look at someone like Radradra, Croker, Leilua who have more of a boom or bust potential, however just more scoring potential.

Hoppa did score 70+ without a try lol.Random wrote:

Although from that list Croker would be the only one I'm interested in really. Bringing in a centre means I'll be moving Cotric down to the WFB position which is risky.
Aubbs is another option in the CTRs
Gordon another option in the WFBs

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
I've been staring at my team all week and still not sure which direction I want to go. Have a few options in my mind. I currently have 21 Trades, 76k in bank
CS9, KPritchard
Fifita, JWallace, FKaufusi, Tetevano
GTrain, JDB, Crichton, Whitehead, CHN, AElliot
Norman, Munster, Niko, Frawley
BJ, TTurbo, Moga, Idris
RTS, Slater, Hayne, Suli, Abbey
Initial thought is to go Turbo to CWalker (via Suli and play Moga at center) and Idris to Fuimaono. Then next round I can do FKaufusi to Graham, Norman to Arey and possibly CHN to Surgess depending on price rises
News of CWalker having a sulk about his contract is making me second guess this move. If I do the Norman to Arey this week instead of CWalker then it gives me another week to see if his playing performance is affected. Problem with that is I'll need to play either Hayne or Suli at WFB
Also I'm still debating between ARey or SJ. I haven't been too impressed with SJ's performance since Foran has been pairing up with him. Seems like he's been a bit muted in terms of taking on the line and dancing around for a few cheap TBs. ARey on the other hand seems a bit risky with his injury history.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
Just my thoughts mate. I would go Norman to SJ because the Warriors always pick it up over the byes as they play under strength teams due to origin. I agree with you re the Foran factor but he's still been scoring well with doing not as much. In any game all SJ has to do is go on one of his jinking runs & he'll go big.itsJay wrote:I've been staring at my team all week and still not sure which direction I want to go. I would do T-Trbo to C. Walker (via Suli). Don't worry about this contract hype re Walker. Then you'll have the flexibility in your team with 2 dpp's at hlf/wfb.

Hi mate, I like your ET to Gallen proposed trade. Gallen is probably the best captain option re rounds 12 & 15. I've never rated ET so I'm a bit biased but others on here are fans.

Who are you trading out mate? Is it an urgent trade?
Also, if I were making that decision I'd be looking at the whole bye period as well. As MS said, you are all good for 12/13 in the Cs but what about your whole team? It could be worth considering which rounds you are short players and looking at a C option that boosts those playing numbers.
But Im tending to go with some of the other posters who have questioned the benefits of pumping heaps of cash into the C position which is so variable and also at this stage quite uncertain.
E.g. Roberts? will he play Origin? if so you'd probably stay away from him.
Aubusson? I really like him as an option (I have him in VTSD) but there is uncertainty surrounding his minutes now with SST back, but also I guess there is a small chance he switches to C too with all the personnel changes the Roosters will have to manage during the bye period.
Hopoate? I don't know enough about to comment on - but I question whether he is a season keeper at C? If not Im not sure its worth spending that kind of cash on a guy? But if you believe he is then maybe he's the best bet of the 3?
I guess it all goes back to who you are trading out and why?
But after all that depending on where you sit with your whole team MS' suggestion of trading one of the raiders out after 12 might be your best bet.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 41
So far have brought in Surgess and Croker for Kaufusi and Turbo. Leaves me plenty for shopping next week.
Last R between Brailey, Musgrove, Yates?? Also have Suli and MWZ but against the Broncos who knows.
If I leave it off Brailey I'll be able to put it on Niko if Hunt isn't fit.
Thoughts?
