Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
Newcastle are playing really close to the ruck and its half the reason Merrin's scoring like he is, ive seen a fair few sets now where he makes the first tackle and goes to marker and then the Knights angle their forward runs back towards him and he racks up 3 or 4 tackles in a single set.

goddamn it, the football gods are firmly against Lamb, was all alone on the other side of Levi and he didn't even look that way.

Was looking forward to CHN and Peachey starting.
Then the game happened.

Thankfully, I had always planned to upgrade CHN next week.

CHN has been ordinary, however they have not gone his way in attack at all. He doesn't go looking for the ball and most of the time is just standing there waiting for it.

But why the fuck can't Cleary just score well in both halves?! He should be averaging 60+ !!!!

I hear ya mate, its a kick in the nuts when all your bye planning falls to pieces. Sometimes I wonder if its worth the whileBoozecluez wrote:Saw Tetevano is out injured which sucks, hope he is alright for next week as that was part of the reason for the cash out to him.
Seems every bye friendly trade I make seems to be going pear shaped haha.
While I have been tactical in waiting on the big ones for next week, it seems they will probably be used fixing the previous ones.....
Almost tempted to just bring in the final keepers and call it a day.
Especially when Merrin/Graham are under priced and with a low BE and Taumalolo/JTrbo are starting to go large and will be out of reach soon.
Will see how origin teams pan out and who makes it through the weekend uninjured

oh well, panthers will get towelled against the dogs (and I hate the dogs) when they come back, they just been lucky last couple of weeks that they played 2 of the worst defensive sides in the league

Is tetevano injured or hooked? Hopefully the latter cause there'll definitely be room for him next week with origin boys out.Boozecluez wrote:Saw Tetevano is out injured which sucks, hope he is alright for next week as that was part of the reason for the cash out to him.

I'm glad CHN stunk it up. I traded him out last week for Brown. It was technically good timing points-wise, if Brown didn't get broken. Netted me -1 points and -lots of $$. Could have been a lot more painful.

Playing Lamb could've been an accidental masterstroke, could've had 4 tries to his name with a touch of luck and better referees.
