Although I have heard the very strong rumour that JDB is in.

P. Wallace out 4-6 weeks re injury. So I think it's worth holding CHN if Peachey goes to hooker & Yeo, Carty & JFH carrying injuries. So CHN seems to be the only healthy 2fr at the Panthers assuming Peachey plays hooker.

Didn't the Origin coaches have a gripe with Monday Night Footy during previous years because they wanted to name their teams after the weekends matches but Monday's game hadn't been played hence naming their side Mondays.

Now, Origin sides have the opportunity to announce their team as early as Sunday night but they choose to wait until Monday arvo again.

I'm sure when sticky Ricky was coach he said if teams could be named as early as possible they could get another days training in.

Pearce will be the first person picked, his form has been amazing and has played at that level before.

Carty lateral meniscus is the confirmed injury now, no prognosis yet.

Playing every Friday means they never have a short turn around until their next game like most other teams have to deal with throughout the season.

Plus it's a massive advertisement for the club playing on free to air every week. Some teams will be lucky to get 1 or 2 free to air games in an entire season, and even then it's normally when they are playing the broncos.

yes, more sponsorship and third party deals because the products are shown on national tv every week !!

in previous years that argument could have flown, but we've played 5 thursday and 5 fridays, if i checked, i am plenty sure i could find a mountain of teams who have played more games on a single day of the week than we have this year, but because it not a free-to-air game and because it not the Broncos,nobody gives a shit... Hell i could tell you without looking that the Cowboys have played a rediculous amount of Saturdays, but nobody seems to think that's an unfair advantage.

and i don't give a shit about advertising dollars, money in the ceo's pocket doesn't help the performance of the players on the field.

If other teams got the viewing numbers then they'd get the friday nights, channel 9 decide the schedule, not the broncos. Every year the broncos request more saturday and sunday games, never get them.

They don't have Mitch Rein hanging around for no reason. He'll play Hooker in Wallace's absence

Interesting Stat

Since becoming a starting backrower, grand Angus is the highest averaging 2RF with 66.2, even better than Taumalol.

He's now a keeper I reckon

anyway in actual fantasy news, Merrin not in the origin side apparently, Round 13 mass trade-in is a go!

Anyway decided against a debate to deleted my comment.

Is merrin actually fantasy relevant again? I haven't watched the panthers in a couple of weeks now but his scoring seems to be fun status again
