Cool story bruz, but did you have Nathan Brown in your team?
Nah I didn't like his head - so I didn't want to look at it in my team. I did get Graham and Walker in though.

Fantasy relevant Origin news/speculation: http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/nrl/state-of-origin/anthony-milford-on-standby-as-johnathan-thurston-needs-miracle-to-play-state-of-origin-i/news-story/542053fbc811cc0873dfd1c86a48cec9
tl:dr - Thurston will be named but unlikely to play. Milford on standby but Bennett won't release unless guaranteed in 17, so might play Saturday and *then* be released to Origin.
Also, Slater and Holmes not in squad, and Myles (if fit) ahead of Wallace.

All game I was playing a head-to-head against a team with Faufusi in it. After the game it shifts about and Surgess in there in his place. No amount of extra points can help me now.
Seems really quite suspect Black Street Generals
Kaufusi to Surgess was the first trade I made last week. Not sure what happened there.

Given all the carnage of late, you're strategy of conserving trades could pay off big time

Hey guys, I wasn't able to watch much this week but it appears injuries have hit hard again to key bye round guys.
Could someone fill me in on the latest with Brown, Reynolds, Macca, and anyone else that's relevant?
I had the first two pegged for trades this week but sounds like my plans may be about to change!

By the way, fantasy is a cruel game huh. I suspect the people who were ahead of the game and doing quite well got absolutely fucked over by Norman last week, then Brown this week. Ironically its guys like me who have been playing catch up all year because of bad moves early that were more likely to dodge those bullets. Hard luck to those that got unlucky!

Yeah mate, had Norman and TTurbo last week. Only Brown (6 points) injured this week but still copped the usual bullshit like CHN's 22, fullbacks scoring around 30's and not having McInnes as reserve (tried that whole captain loophole experiment to see whether you can move Smith to bench but when I put it back it must have took the R off McInnes). Only lost 13 points there as had Frawley replace him. The player I'm getting pissed off most for not owning is Mitchell Pearce, he has been awesome this year so bring on the byes. Not sure what my trades will be this week but given I have been waiting for Gallen to get injured and it hasn't happened yet I think I just need to bite the bullet and bring him in.
Only managed 842 and will continue to slide over the byes, and will run out of trades pretty early at this rate.

Brown 443k for a close tear-up-your-money changeover.
Right I don't have these players, which 3 do I get?
McCulloch
Gallen
Graham
Walker
SJ
So far, injury pending, I've gone:
Smith - Macca
Brown - Gallen
Norman - SJ
14 players this week if Tetevano shapes up (so really 13.5 players)

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 42
I have 15/17 pretty comfortably for this week and next week based on making keeper trades for rnd 12, but round 15 and round 18 are fairly dire at the moment. How is everyone else looking for those? obviously its a balancing act between quantity and quality, etc.
I am considering turfing Smith for Friend or even dare I say it Farah (obvs if Daley sticks with him then he's off the list).
Primary trades would be:
Kaufusi -> Graham
CHN -> Surgess
To fund the second trade the third will need to be a downgrade, so Smith out, or Tommy T out for cheapie CTR/WFB - which would essentially kill a position :/
If i do the Smith out option, I can turn Tommy T into Munster/Nofo next week as both have byes in rnd 12. EDIT that probably wont work as I want McInnes next week. ahah
