Advice was given based on the facts up till the point said advice was given. Making trades based on potential injuries or potential teamlists or potential positional changes is, in general, a recipe for disaster.

The Eels website "injury report" updated today, which is just a list of injured players, doesnt even mention Brown.

Ive seen wild rumours circulating that he would be out up to 10 weeks. Its very hard to believe he would be name starting at all.

Nah, doubt it mate, he did play on for 15 minutes so maybe it's not a fracture and just needs a needle?  Has anyone seen the official diagnosis?

Anyone running any vc/c options other than Surgess/Gallen?

Tempted to roll the dice with Crichton or Cody Walker vc. ant the chance of an 80+ to make the loophole really worth it.

SJ plays right before Gallen, so doesn't give you much leeway to loophole if he does go big. Might have to make the decision before full time if he is killing it.
Unless you vc SJ and captain a Rooster/Raider

I think Crichton would be a decent crack at the VC.

SJ shit byes after this round Booze, but is probably a final 17 player so based on that best to get him in now. You are looking good for byes with your long term plan anyway aren't you?

I think Nu Brown is the best cash out option this week.
    George Fai perhaps 2nd best.

Others like Matterson, Su'a too expensive

You're right about Brown but the problem for me is if I get him I won't be able to knock out a 17 in round 13 so I passed on him. I might get him in after that though.

I want to hold him for round 15 at least. Trade him out sometime between 16 and 20.

Unless he gets injured and/or picked for origin 2.

Yeah, and like the buster of hymens said above, have seen speculation of between 1 to 10 weeks. Hopefully the Eels official page gives us the facts.

Musgrove probably my biggest shock, and there have been a few, deadset thought he was 100% to start with the injuries and others form.

I was planning on trading him in this week so Mitchell Aubusson being named in the centers has upset the apple cart. Is Joey Luilua worth a shot? His scores of late don't really inspire confidence.

8 for this round now plus a small Niko sighting. No Musgrove, Milford is a real kick in the teeth
