Chambers banned for one game for tackle on Pearce. Won't play this Friday.

Who put that swinging arm on Fifita midway thorough the first half? I didn't see for sure but I thought it looked like McGuire. Is he in danger of being put up in front of the judiciary?

Anything else worth commenting on fantasy wise?

Wallace in next game? Slater too maybe?

    Cheers.

I dont know if the refs have been given a rap, but they were amazing. Didnt even notice them.

I love how they just let things slide.

I like the idea of "hey guys, if you wana play origin, then take what you get on the field". The reviewers after the game can sort out suspensions etc

Why isn't their a decent Rd15 friendly keeper in the halves.
    Will already have Munster.

Norman could be back. Not keen on Walker.

Morgan got done for a dangerous throw on Klemmer but free to play with an early guilty plea.

If Wallace and Slater are picked for game 2, that makes numbers of quality players for round 15 few and far between. After the win, it looks at least Vaughn is safe, as is JDB barring injury of course.

Was looking at just punting Brown and Kaufusi but may need to rethink just to get numbers on the park.

So how many trades are people saving for the run home? I'm trying to determine if it's worth going CNK > Edwards this week.

It'll leave me with 15 trades left with still 11 players who will probably need trading out - Brailey, Yates, Elliot, Stone, Frawley, Fuimaona, Edwards, Idris, Hayne, Holmes, Cotric (last two borderline keepers).

    Is 4 spare trades suicide?

I'm chasing Edwards as his R18 bye cover is handy and with a team value + cash of 9.4m I'm a bit behind the 8-ball so the potential cash grab is appealing.

    Thoughts?

Yep. That's the end of QLD for at least 5-8 years. NSW dynasty coming right up.

6 or 7 trades left is decent post byes in my book. I'm hoping for 5 trades left at Round 20 after heavy bye trading.

I think it very much depends on the way you play the game.

For me I'll just trade until I have the team I want, regardless of how many it takes cause I don't care if I blow out at the end of the season cause I have injuries and don't have trades to fix them, so long as I give my self the chance to get the highest ranking possible.

Others play more conservative I guess and would rather play the odds, expect injuries, and keep something up their sleeve to deal with that, even if it means you leave some fuel in the tank, but get a more consistent ranking year on year.

I guess it depends on what type of player you are?

FWIW I'll have 4 max by round 20 at this stage could be as low as 2. Will need luck Smile I'l let you know how I get on. My first season so it'll be interesting.

Oh and I also think its all relative to where you are ranked now. If I was currently in the top ten I'd be a little more conservative than where I am now 965.

Munster be high enough that you can wait. I'd worry about an origin call up considering how bad QLD was

Have you seen the picture of one of 2 near spear tackles by CS9. Unbelievable. He really is a protected species

That's cause he's in everyones fantasy teams and we need him to back up Friday night.

Speaking of Smith, he wasn't his usual best, I'm expecting a bounce back tomorrow night.

Munster would be a perfect option for QLD to match some of that NSW grunt, but he won't be picked.

The news that Milf probably out this week with suspected fractured cheekbone maybe 6-8 weeks works wonders for my trade plan if Niko plays 80 this week. Brown>Gurgess frees up mega dollars for planned final team trades while retaining good bye cover

Obviously I don't wish injury on Milford but said before game would be nice if too tired and misses 13
