I don't doubt it but still I'm always weary of picking a player to go big just because they're playing the Knights. I mean Coen Hess has been an absolute machine this year as far as try scoring goes but against the Knights? Didn't even come close to scoring against the one team you'd back him to get a double against.

Addo carr on Cam Smith today:

“Smithy played State of Origin and he has 50 tackles a game so he just sat out for a rest,” the winger said.

“He is fit and ready to go this week.”

I would agree but against the Raiders he was going nuts in last 10 mins. 2 consecutive sets near the end he was getting tb+ol with each play. That's money and looked like he might not come back after dislocated finger on 8pts

So sounds like Smith will be fine to play 80, not much more info on Graham and Frizell sounds like he'll miss at least this game against the dogs but nothing serious.

Potential trades this week. I'm also opting to leave them for next week just in case anything happens to trade in targets like it did with Nathan Brown.

Frawley to bottom priced HLF. Thinking Kyle Laybutt from the Cows might get a go in 15.
Whitehead to Lolo just because Lolo is getting to a ridiculous price and I consider him a must have for 15.

If Graham is out I might have to adjust plans and get Fifita back in or go for Taupau. Doesn't put me in the best spot for 15 but one must do what they have to do. I think I might just stick solid and ride another Frawley price rise to conserve trades for the week.

Am I stupid for considering trading out Slater to get Cleary in via Munster. Can bring in Cleary for Stone via some DPP but also requires a downgrade trade for cash. Can do Slater straight up and I have a feeling he will be picked in Origin making his byes weak.

not stupid if he gets picked for origin as he will miss 3 of the next 6. but its best to wait till the team announcements. gonna give it another week before trading him out

Crap forgot about Slater being picked for Origin. Assuming everyone gets through the game unscathed there probably won't be a 50k price difference between Munster and Slater will there?
I can afford Whitehead to Lolo and probably Slater to Munster if necessary by trading just one peaked cow out. However it all depends if I want to fast-track the Lolo trade because he could easily smash that 45 BE

Is Perrett to Gurgess a decent option to gain some additional points for upcoming bye rounds? George has bottomed out in price and has the potential to score mid 40's in the run home. Could produce some much needed points during rounds 18/19.

frizz cleared of serious injury. collective sigh of relief by jdb owners

    NRL PHYSIO @nrlphysio
Tyson Frizell cleared of serious injury: means likely minor cartilage damage. Will be pain tolerance issue (can be needled to play)

sounds a bit like nathan browns issues, but im happy as long as he plays origin

People were basically saying this about JBrom earlier in the year. Just because a player has been a gun in previous years, doesn't 100% make them a gun now.

The difference is Gurgess just drops the ball occasionally where as Bromwich really dropped the ball.

That's probably the nicest thing Gurgess has heard about his game in 2017

The Bulldogs were just woeful yesterday. Tolman wss their highest fantasy scorer on 32. Elliot is still an 80minute edge forward and the Dogs bench is really weak. He'll bounce back.

    Lol

Watch him bounce back this week after a week off. Will be nice and fresh and ready to destroy the opposition... or his teams completion rate Sad
