i was tempted by harris but there are a few unknowns with the team make-up so i would wait for team lists week 15 at the very least

Yeah holding out for round 15 team lists on the off chance Harris gets named at centre. It doesn't hurt that he is set to lose more than Whitehead

I'm completely lost with what to do with Graham, thinking I might just pick James up and accept that i can't find a nice replacement which is both a keeper and has good byes.

Can you DPP for someone like Harris mate or run the risk with JBrom

I think I'm hanging onto Graham, his injury scares the shit out of me but I'm reluctant to let him go for less than the "bargain" price I picked him up for  Shocked Embarassed Rolling Eyes

just keep in mind that unless you've somehow got over 17 players in one of the major bye rounds, picking a guy that plays 15 & not 18 is no different in terms of bye coverage as picking a guy who plays 18 & not 15.... having 14 in both 15 and 18 is the same as having 11 in 15 and 17 in 18

Can't make use of DPP unfortunately no. Not sure on JBrom, classy player no doubt and If I hadn't traded Graham in just recently I'd be much more comfortable taking the risk on him. Low on trades and having already stuffed up in that position once I'm not so sure.

Banking on Cam Smith being right, so I can carry JGraham a bit longer. Good thing Storm's up first.

Gonna give Suli another week and use him as cover for Graham. Will give me another look at JBrom with Cam back.

I think it's time to abandon ship on the Knights for me. They've improved over last year, but every game I still expect them to get torn to shreds and offer little in attack.

Sione's constant cloud for HIAs has had me wary for weeks, so I'm gonna go with the buy low/sell high adage and offload him for Leilua.

Meanwhile Lamb's done about as much as you can ask for the price and while he's constantly 1 game away from a decent price rise, the opportunity to get Munster with a much higher ceiling and 10 point better average looks to be the way to go.

Leaves me with $0 in the bank Welcome

I only have 12 trades & ultimately I want Smith back in my team but with Smith only playing 3 of the next 6 games he can wait until round 20 when the Storm have completed their 2nd trade. I don't really want to waste a trade getting another hooker & then trading again to Smith but it looks like I have no alternative. So do I downgrade to Brandon Smith or go sideways to someone like Brailey or go expensive like J. Friend or do I just get Smith & be damned. Thoughts & thanks.

Thats a real tough one especially if you hope to bring smith back. Id either go with friend and run without smith or keep cook and hope madge comes to his senses and plays him more minutes and hope cook makes some of his cash back before selling to smith in round 20

Hess, Wallace and even Bolton are names I've seen tossed around for QLD selection in Game 2, but I wonder if Bukuya is any chance. I'm sure i recall his name being in the mix in seasons gone by and we tend to select the guy nobody has mentioned.

Just discussing it for the sake of considering who might benefit in Rd's 15 and 18.

Would it be a good idea to cash out Elliot and bring in Taupau for Graham? Obviously would be after round 15.

Yeah, just about lost patience with Smat.  Would rather someone with a higher ceiling. Might wait for Turbo though.

Random wrote:So few things, I haven't been to active the last couple of weeks so I am sorry about that, and the list of questions I am about to ask.

    - J. Graham officially out for this week and/or is he a must trade?
    - What has happened with Sione Mata'Utia?
    - Why are we ditching E. Whitehead now?
    - J. Bromwich bottomed out? Worth waiting to grab him to see if he bounces back.
    - Taumalolo, Taupau, Mannering, Merrin if I have to trade out J. Graham?
    - How do I buy trades again?

    I'll have a go here;

    - I think Graham is suppose to be named and is expected to play this week. He plays the last game again so he would be every chance to play. If I owned him, I'd just trade his ass I think.

    - SMat I've had since the start and he just didn't get very involved, but, I noticed at one point, he dropped off a tackle and looked pretty much knocked out again. I thought for sure he would be gone, but he got back up and kept playing on. Not sure how they missed it but you could tell he wasn't on after that, had less involvement and didn't really offer anything. Annoying as an owner as he seemed to be going on a little run.

    - I don't have Whitehead, I went Bodene.........who I'm fucking off, but if I had Whitehead, I don't see him as an urgent trade. I guess if you are getting a gun in, he's just the one to go, like Bodene is for me. I wish I went Whitehead over Bodene though.

    - Looks like Bromwich has definitely bottomed out and I'm looking closley at him. I'll probably give him one more week and maybe trade Yates for him next week if he can get at least a 40 again.

    - Tossing up myself which gun to get for Bodene. I'm liking Taupau but I really want someone playing next week. I'm torn between Gal, Tolo, JDB and Taupau. Merrin looking good but he would have had a score in the 40's if it wasn't for that one bust, but it's still points.

    - If you find out how to buy trades and how much, do tell.

This is interesting and makes sense.  So I'm looking to upgrade Bodene and was obviously looking at Tolo or Gal, but picking Taupau and Merrin could be just as good options as Tolo and Gal don't play 18.  Hmm.....thanks mate, opens up a whole new realm of thinking on this one.  Saying that, that only leaves Rabbits, Eels and Storm.  Have Surgess, Crichton and Brown, plus I've kept Felise, so JBrom although not a gun, looks like a solid pick for both these weeks.

What are Lolohea owners expecting from him from here on out? Mid 30's? Mid 40's? Watching him play last week and I didn't think his Fantasy score would be in the 50's. He looked absolutely gassed even before half time. The fact he plays round 15 and has dual position status does make him somewhat appealing.

I was wondering this too. I'm a biased Sharks supporter but I think Bukuya would be excellent coming off the bench for Qld. He's a gun and is so underrated. I think he'd be exactly what Qld need. He's included in the Qld development camps every year but never seems to get a real look in for actual selection.
