Yeah sure, although wasn't he a bench player when he came onto the scene? The starting C spot was later right?

Either way I just assumed most people brought him his as a cash out option with great Bye coverage (I did anyway) and that cover is only 1/3 complete.

Depends how tight coin is and who you trade out for him. If you are trading out someone sse with bad byes then not such a bad time to do it now and take the price advantage. If you are trading out someone who will get you 50-100 more points over the next month then I'd gamble with the potential price rises.

Thats a lot of changes and he is jumping over a few players, Oates dropped for no reason, Holmes overlooked and Gagai over looked for centre position. Seems doubtful he gets selected to me

I went to a wedding last weekend and the father of the bride described his daughter in his speech - referring to how much she like sleeping in - as "half woman, half mattress". I wouldn't do that.

Just keep it simple. Don't get drunk, have cards to refer to if you are uncomfortable with public speaking and just be respectful. It is a massive honour to be best man so just have fun. I'm sure it will all go according to plan. Best of luck!

You're getting a gun and a potential gun from 2 cash cows.  I'd do it if they are both in your final 18, particularly when looking at the coin. Incomprehensible at the start of the year to think this will cost you what, 15k?

Ted and BJ cost a tickle under a million at the start of the year.

    Updated Sea Eagles:
Cameron Cullen and Shaun Lane drop out of the 21-man squad, with Tom Trbojevic still a chance to return.

Good advice. And put the time in to plan your speech (and don't feel you have to be that funny). I had a mate who's best man was scrambling the day of and it was the worst speech I have ever heard. He cursed through the whole thing, made no sense, and it was quite embarrassing for everyone...Except those of us that absolutely pissed our selves at how shit-house it was Smile

Most of all enjoy it mate - weddings are fucken great!!

    Talk of Bringing Teddy in...

I think its worth holding off until round 16. 15 he's out anyway obviously and then he has a 2 day turnaround (less than 48 hors I think). It wouldn't be a surprise if he got a rest that game I reckon!!

rts semi and frawley are cashouts to upgrade kelly and farah to tturbo and smith.

stuff the byes! im trading straight to keepers, will have 8 trades left at round 19.
is it too risky to have so little players in the 2 remaining big bye rounds?

    thoughts and thanks
Would be very interested in what others think about this as well.

I personally feel like you should either go hard on byes or go hard getting your final team in place as early as possible.  I just feel it is a compromise trying to balance the 2 strategies.  You are going to take a massive hit and in all honestly could be back to 1000ish ranking in a month.  HOWEVER, you will claw that back with some luck and with the bonus of more trades than most having not traded sideways for bye points.

If your byes in 15/18 are that bad then I reckon purely trade for your final team.  If there are suspensions/injuries in the run home then you are in very good shape.
