Having some second thoughts about the make up of the HLF/WFB part of my team

    I can do something like

I use Graham as an example as he could potentially be available for as little as 350k in next 2 weeks
DCE because his price, byes,POD makes him a calculated gamble with the form Manly seem

    A
    Cleary/DCE
    Munster/CWalker/Hayne

*Would require approximately 150k to do the above, also means I wouldn't have any reserves/depth for a late pull out.
*No real AE risk so would use an AE from someone like JGraham who would be 18th man.
*Potential but risky move to even kill of a CTR or WFB spot later and run 16 players with JGraham as AE
*No RTS means another POD to potentially make inroads into table, possibly more stable scores with a lower bottom

B (My current plan and the less risky)
    Munster/CWalker
    RTS/Radradra/Hayne

*Would have Lolohea as cover for Hlf/Wfb and even allows Hayne to cover ctr so a reserve for all late pull outs.
*Lolohea also gives me another scorer over the byes as wouldn't be fielding 17 anyways = 3 or 4 games of points
*AE would be the lower scorer of Lolohea/JGraham
*Insurance plan that if a player was out of form they could be benched and Lolohea could start
*Potential for Radradra to be traded after byes if trades are available too

I would lean to Lolohea. I'm not sure whether having more than Surgess & Crichton & maybe Walker/A-Rey from Souths is a good idea considering their poor form. As a Mitchell owner & with Pearce back I'm hoping Mitchell can get back into the groove & bust a move on Suli.

Thanks mate. Lolohea should be a good 18th man I guess.

    so its cleary+dce vs rts+radradra.

option A looks better points wise as they are two halves (pod) both of which play 18 and are in more of a 'consistent' scoring position as opposed to rads/rts.
i also like the killing off centre strategy - as personally i would never have the balls to do it, but really want to. i think you have more to gain from A than the safer option in B.

But this is from an outsiders perspective, and i would likely lean towards safety as i have all year

    Playing tonight:

    Moga
    Walker
    Surgess
    Crichton

Should drop a bit in the live-rankings, I expect.

Not sure if good thing/bad thing if The Fui-man doesn't play. May not have even hit his B/E off the bench but also won't make anymore cash if he's not in the 17. Would've liked him to make more than $60k. Waste of a trade to get rid of him for that much now.

    We've all been robbed!

According to this story, RTS has "a whopping 1938m with 41 line-breaks to his name already this season"

Well I was playing safe all year but then the likes of Hess/Ponga etc shot away haha, story of my season
It could be an interesting exercise and I mean I am in no contention to win this, a bit of fun

Looks like my final 17 is going to look something like this:

    Smith (McInnes)
    Vaughan, Brown (Graham)
    Gallen, Surgess, Crichton (JDB/Merrin)
    Johnson, Norman (Walker)
    Moga, Leilua
    Tedesco, Hayne, RTS.

Will have 10 trades after next week for the remainder of the season. Might use some in the final few bye rounds but should have 7-8 to cover injuries for the run home which for me, is close to the minimum.

    .

Clark is gone, I think that's who they are replacing.
Maybe they don't see Roache/Tevaga as 80min players and wanted one? Not sure.

Be interesting to see if he takes Roache's spot on the bench in the next few weeks.

Hey man. Was posting my info and then remembered I reversed my trades until I have to make them tomorrow.

Hopefully someone else can help you out.

So are you just scraping all the info?

    Yep.

So the info available is not 100% correct until players have played, as trade ins who are yet to have played will still show last weeks player. eg So right now I see that 27 people in top 1500 have captained whitehead when in actual fact that is likely to actually be taumalolo.

Smith/Gal/Fifita captain numbers are correct as they played last night.

Just looked into a bit of Erin Clark background - had no idea he's Temepara George's son! (Now Temepara Bailey) - she was probably one of my sporting idols growing up. Absolute legend.
