I think any player who drops out of origin through injury can't play the following weekend.
    Is that correct ?

So, QLD picks someone from Souths or Parra and Wallace serves his suspension next week. Then the selected player drops out thru injury and sits out the bye.
Then Wallace can be picked !!

    Would that work ?

Yes but he wouldn't be available for round 15 or possibly 16 so is a trade anyway IMO

    Yes.

Speaking of Wallace, are people keeping him or gonna trade him this week. Not playing for the Titans this week regardless so I'm not sure. He's a perfect 3rd FR option though for the run home really.

I'm not interested in Vaughan. With the Dragons pack all competing for minutes he only gets 49-50 minutes. If he was getting 55-60 minutes then it would be different. If he doesn't get any attacking stats he's only going to score 45-50 points.
Pearce I do want & with a b/e last night of 65 I was hoping he'd score in the 40's to start a price fall. However he scored 64 so he may be out of my price range. I think SJ & Pearce are the 2 standout options. The others are up & down & as a Lamb owner he actually outscored a lot of them this round.
Nothing more needs to be said about Rapana. He's a boom boom asset.

I'm swapping him for Vaughan who plays 2 big bye rounds

He's the 3rd highest averaging front rower, but you don't care about the points he scores because he scores them too quickly?

The way I see it Vaughan has the same floor as JWal (45-50) with a ceiling on 70-80 if he gets some attacking stats. That upside and one extra bye round is worth the trade for me

I don't think so. While not an official source, the nrl physio account on twitter suggested that the injury reported is more likely 2 - 3 weeks.

I'm weary of Vaughan and maybe it is the minutes, I don't know. Its odd, because for the last two or three years I'd been looking for him to turn into a fantasy gun at the raiders, and now he's finally done it, I'm a bit gun shy.

Both teams have pulled this or similar to exploit loop holes. I think they have shut it down. Ask in the SOO thread for all the gory details

Its probably iin NSW's best interest to give QLD the offical OK to bring in Wallace late. Its not going to make a huge difference to qld's chances but then nsw could hope/expect qld to return the favour in the future.

Vomit. If I'd stuck with trades before Munster possible origin starter rumour I'd be 97pts better off and in 40th instead 108th

Im a little bit confused by this logic too.

His minutes seem to be relatively constant all season so what that tells me is that unless something changes in his game his 55point average should be good going forward.

I haven't run the numbers but I'll assume you have and the 45-50 point score with no attacking stats is good, but now 13 rounds into the season surely you have to factor in some attacking stats into his game each week on average??

It seems the minutes thing is a red herring and the main question you should be asking yourself is whether or not 5-10 attacking points on average per week is a reasonable expectation or not?

I was really disappointed when Monday night football was coming to an end but to be honest I think I prefer it gone. Its nice when the NRL weekend wraps up on Sunday afternoon and you can get straight into raging on Monday morning haha

I found another one who captained friend. Lorraine Howard in 19th position. She has scored 829 points this round but her score only adds to 715 so she has done some successful trades this week, and most likely moved the C from friend to get a score that good

I was wondering this, but for QLD they may as well announce today. I think as camp starts today who's there and who isn't will get out anyway. Not a single player in contention for QLD from the dragons/dogs.

I thought this too. Wasn't keen on the idea at all, but now I'm fine with it. Feels weird not looking at price changes and fiddling with trades. The only downside is we have to wait an extra day to get the team lists as oppose to before you'd spend the morning looking and have the teams that arvo.

Are you daft ? It's SOO. A favour in SOO is sending Joel Monoghan around to dog sit while QLD are in camp.
