    P.S. I'm on 1034 atm before updates.

Hindsight is wonderful, but McGuire to Vaughan would have been a good move, short term at least.

Plays 1 extra game, and don't have to worry about possibility of being rested after origin.

Biggest concerns were the extra cash possibly hurting my plans to bring Fifita in after origin, and not necessarily wanting to burn a trade trading out a guy averaging 54.

Will lose a bit of ground this week, just have to hope I can catch it up again. My bye planning for 18/19 is theoretically better than I had R15, but we'll see what comes along to screw that up.

There were some big moves in the top 10 this week. Expect it will be like that for the next month at least. Hold fast mate, you'll bounce back

Holy Crap, some guys have come from no-where! 1st up from 14th with a massive score of 1166 and managed that without Capewell!

5th place guy up to 2nd and old 1st down to 12th.

    Pacey 6th, Milch 11th, DK 20th and me 7th

Im a bit gutted, I didnt think the pack would close so hard on that round... I'm now 10 points further off first than I was before!

The shining light is that 1st, as it stands, has only 12 available for round 18 and with Milf (and probably MWZ) out, 15 for the next round (subject to Wallace and JTrbo backing up from Origin). So he'll have to burn some trades and sacrifice some points through to round 19. I think he is catch-able but he has a very ominous team by the looks!

None of the new leaders have 17 available for this round, so a lot of it depends on how many trades they have available.

Without trades my team this week is

    Friend McCullough
    Gallen JDB Wallace Graham
    Taumalolo ET McGuire Merrin
    Cleary SJ
    Moga (Crichton)
    Tedesco Munster RTS

AE for Crichton will be Frawley/Suli

Don't think I want to trade out M'au/Fuimaono just to get an extra player this week.
(must resist urge to knee jerk after not bringing Vaughan in)

That's as good a team as most at the top will be fielding so hopefully I can makeup some lost ground.
If anyone up the top has a lot of trades and cash in hand they can easily bring in some

Manly, Knights, Panthers now done with byes so a few obvious trade target in there.

Yeah mate, I would resist that trade. Ma'u has been really solid of late. Without checking he would be up there as the 2nd best C wouldn't he (over the last few rounds)? Fui looks great to me (and first doesnt have him). I'd be keeping him too. In fact I am, I have both those two guys and Im keeping them both for the season, Ma'u as my starting C and Aubs and Fui as backups and potential starters depending on matchups and team lists.

Im with you on your comment on 1st. How he travels from here is very much dependent on his trade situation. If he hasnt saved a couple during the season he will only be able to make a few before 14 without putting his team in quite a tricky spot. Time will tell I guess, but hopefully we can make up some ground on him over the next few round!

My team for this round not too dissimilar from yours (after trading Elgey for Cleary):

    Friend McCullough McInnes
    Gallen JDB Wallace Vaughan Graham
Taumalolo ET Elliot McGuire Mannering Merrin
    Cleary SJ
    Moga Aubs (Crichton)
    Tedesco Edwards Munster RTS

With MWZ/Scott/Jacks possible 17th men and AE for my gap in the Cs

Didn't think I would drop with a 900 score. I guess top 10 is the goal but will be tough with limited trades.

What is average at the moment lads?

I have 15 left and would imagine that is fairly middle of the road

For those that are still left in eliminator, are you getting this message? Assume this is just an error...

I would assume that 15 is a lot better than average OSM. I have 14 left, and I'm pretty pleased with that.

Haha! It looks like the Bye took us all by surprise by turning up unexpectedly and claimed victory by forfeit.

My guess is that is at the high end mate. I've got 8 left (before trading this round) and figure I should be right (with a bit of injury luck) until the end although obviously more would help in the bye rounds from here.

I'd be interested to hear how many Pacey, DK, and Milch have left (and anyone else in the top 20) cause while this is my first year I suspect it would be pretty hard to be in the top 20 right now AND have many more than say 12 trades left.

I probably naively wasted a couple early via my initial team selection (Leota, Field, Afoa spring to mind) and perhaps one or two more where I was too hasty during the comp, but otherwise I dont think I could be where Im at now without trading heavily during the season. Actually looking back I think I have only banked 3 trades all season.

I've got 9 trades left, but I already have 17 for rounds 16 and 19 but only 12 for round 18 and I have Milford sitting there.
Gotta think this week whether I will go Milford----->N.Cleary/DCE or is it better to wait to go
    Milford----->M.Pearce after round 19
