Currently in transit in Hong Kong.

What happened to Vaughan? Long term?

Might have saved the week for me. 903 and an eliminator win

I havent seen anything formal but it has been reported as anything from a calf tear (longer term) to a calf strain (likely to return after st george have their rd 18 bye). I guess we'll find out more in the next couple of days.

Only lasted 3 minutes, so will be a cheap pickup when he returns.

It's a cruel game isnt it. Was cruising to hit over 1000 then it all fell appart with Vaughan off within 2 min, and McInnes having his worst fantasy performance of the season.

Only plus side is that everyone ahead of me had Vaughan too, and I think most had McInnes and also JDB (prior to this round). So its the guys coming from the back which are gonna be the issue!

Will no soon enough I guess, 920 for me, which is not too bad considering MWZ (10), Vaughn (2), and Elliot (26).

By the way - 1st place, based on last weeks team, scored 726 +(c) score. That was with 16 players. My guess is he brought Cleary in and then probably loopholed Tolo. Which means 860.

So hopefully we all caught him a bit.

On top of that he has three injuries in Vaughan, Brailey, and Harris to potentially deal with. The Brailey one is a real conundrum for him I think. Im not sure what I would do in his situation as Im pretty sure he would have planned to hold Brailey until 20 before bringing in Cam. I suspect it wont be worth an extra trade bringing in someone like Friend for just 2 rounds so Im thinking he has to run with just the one hooker till round 20, or perhaps run with Friend for the season...

    Great score mate, well done.

Where were you sitting prior to this round? How far off the top? Cause Im looking at the top 6 teams and before trades and before (c) picks they all have pretty average scores:

    1st: 726
    2nd: 643
    3rd: 637
    4th: 711
    5th: 752
    6th: 681

Im guessing a few of them probably went JDB to Taupau? and another few probably brought in Cleary. But overall all I'd say you gain anywhere from 100 to 250 points on these guys!

I'll be interested to see how far up the ladder you move mate. That's a fair score and I presume you avoided all the injuries? If so it puts you in a nice spot cause I would say those in the top 20 have used most of their trades by now. Injuries will really start to hurt some teams!! I'd say you have a good chance of pushing for a top 10 spot at least!

Yeah I noticed that. Actually at least one other in the top 10, maybe 2, made that trade as well: Brailey for B Smith.

1st bringing in Cleary seemed like an obvious move as he had Milford sitting there, but Im surprised not many others did the same.

Also interesting to see many of the top 10 traded 2 or 3 times that round. So I'd say some will be quite low on trades now!

By the way, if anyone can help me post this thing it would be much appreciated!! I have it as a jpg or png but thats about as far as I've gotten!!

The above was my attempt at hosting on Flickr.

Hosting the image doesnt work either...I get a message saying "file too big or corrupted" or something like that!

Last but not least, could someone who has access to the real BEs PM me a few random ones so I can do a cross-check that the ones that Ive calculated using Milch's spreadsheet are accurate? Cheers.
