Do you know much about the individual sports, or is your success mostly down to your experience and expertise in statistical analysis? (Serious question btw.)

Generally I am not a believer in PODs. I would rather get the better player. Also, with 10 teams above me, everyone is a POD to some degree.

I just want to assemble the best team I can and hope for luck with injuries. I think I can get a better 17 together than the top few teams (although that is without knowing their trades and cash balance)

Had a bit of bad luck over origin. McGuire, Ma'u, Friend were not heavily owned by the top 20, and all gave me single figure scores due to injury. James Graham also not owned by a lot of top teams and he could have proven useful. The lost points and cash have made things a little tougher.

Thanks mate. I know Rugby Union well, but that's about it. For NFL though I entered a team with my bro-in-law from the US who knows fantasy very well. NRL has been a bit lucky, but I've had a bit of help.

IMO its probably an even split between knowledge of the game, analysis,strategy, and luck. Although Rugby & NFL are way easier cause there are less teams entered. The guy who won Super Rugby is actually a mate who I helped heaps during the season... regretting that a bit now huh

Of course. My point was that the probability of Pearce's price going down by $5k+ is higher than not (from memory). That's fundamentally what this game is about isn't it? That plus your propensity for risk.

Yes, Pearce is certainly more likely to drop price than Fifita.

Going back to POD talk, if SJ didn't go down, I think Pearce would be a bit of a POD, but he'll probably be a popular year in this week.

I haven't done a DT rankings list for years, but I thought it might be interesting to see where everyone stands after the final bye round.

Does anyone know who owns the team Cebu comets, which is in the FFOG, and I assume in L3? (FIXED. Franko = L2.)

I know there are a few guys who are active in the FF forum, but AREN'T in the FFOG or any of our official leagues, so I will create a "Non-FFOG" list for them to add their details, if they are so inclined.
