Im not sure, but I think you may be ok.

I'm the guy in 11th and my team scored 1041 - thats only 88 more than you (- your AE by the looks) and you are ahead of me by 81. So as long as your AE>7 it won't be me knocking you out of the top 10.

I really enjoyed that season, learned heaps. Im not sure I will have done enough for a to 10 but while I definitely had some luck this year, I could have done a lot better by not wasting a couple trades early. I also think I was too quick to dump some guys as well.

    Looking forward to next year!

I stayed in 8th to claim $150. better than a kick in the teeth.

R&T snuck into 10th with manly beaver dropping annoyingly to 11th.

Trajan and Pacey in the top 20.

Fanatics leagues came 4th, 8th and 11th, with Bullbender in 10th. Little sad given we were the top leagues for a long time.

Eaglestars overtook Mt Botany in the last round to claim overall honours. Both these guys ran out of trades ages ago, showing that trade conversation not always the best idea when shooting for overall.
Get the best team you can, as soon as you can and hope for injury luck is the strategy to go for.
Eaglestars also came 45th in Fantasy, so well done to him

Scored 1097 and finished 72nd overall.

My first season back since 2012 so I reckon I can do better next year.

Well done to everyone who finished top 10/20 Smile

Well you've effectively summed up the entire game in one sentence - well done Milch.

Congrats to all the $$ earners but I think we can all agree that OSM taking the honours in the L1 head to head comp is probably the highest accolade you can achieve in this game....I can't wait to ring Mum and let her know!

That aside, finished the season in 63rd which was a little disappointing given I managed to get myself up to 26th heading into the bye period but went in with a conservative trade strategy and it clearly didn't pay off. I immediately slipped back during the byes to between 50-100 and struggled to claw my way back after that.

Congrats to OSM on beating Pacey 1005-957 in the L1 GF.

How did the GF's go in L2 and L3?

Finished 20th overall so not too bad but mid season was in the top 10 and made some poor trades but hopefully I will have learned from that and will be better next year.
Losing that L1 head to head final was devastating and I think it will take me a few days to get over it.
Just kidding, congrats OSM, way too good mate and well done to all who did well this year especially Milchcow and R&T who made top 10.

Slipped out of the top 200 to finish on 221 and out of L1 next year. Considering no bye planning and knee jerk wasted sideways trades during bye season, not bad. It's the relegation that hurts the most.

I haven't checked yet, but it's in the FFOG group in the VSDT site. Wink

I won the FFOG, followed by Trajan, Pacey's Best and DK

There are a few guys who post in this thread who did well, but weren't in the FFOG (eg R&T who would have come 2nd if, he was in it)

Ah man, that's a bit bitter sweet. Stoked a snuck into the top ten but bit of a shame it was at the expense of Manly.... That's life I guess.

Such a fun format! I ended up in the money in NFL, Super Rugby, and NRL. Pretty stoked. But gutted they have canned the prizes in NFL this year. Wondering if that might be the case for Super Rugby next season too??

Anyway lads, see you then Smile

Whilst you undoubtedly contributed to the ousting of Manly40nil, the bloke who finished in 9th was the real bastard because he jagged the highest score of the round to jump 7 places and into the top 10......what an arsehole!

Well done to those who got some coin out of this comp. Finished 51st, disappointing since I was as high as 2nd for a while. Not sure where is all went wong to be honest. Bring back the sportsbet comp!

I wish they would reinstate that comp as I really miss the $100 free bet our League had a mortgage on every year.

A quick and belated thanks to all for your help this year. Finished 55th having gained about 100 places over the last six rounds or so. Once again I left my run too late - I even had two trades left for round 26. So I would second the view that burning trades early and holding on for dear life is the way to go.

Somehow managed to defend my title in Bullbenders League cheer

For all its clunky interface and dwindling prize money, I still like this format.
