If you were to trade one in one of JDB and Vaughn, it's JDB every day of the week, right?

JDB all day. I'm still not convinced on Vaughan. Unless he gets a try, t/b's he's only a 45-50 point scorer.

Cool mate. I thought the extra bit of cash would come in handy, but yeah, I think regardless, it's a no brainer for JDB.

    After trades this week my team is;

    McInnes Brailey
    Kaufusi Brown
    Surgess Crichton Tolo JDB
    Lolohea Foghorn
    Fui
    Suli Munster Semi

Solid I think.  12 trades left and 275K.  If Foghorn doesn't get a run I'll switch to Laybutt, or Scott, but Scott would fuck my DPP's. Gonna risk Brailey and Suli not losing more than 33K combined so I can upgrade them to Edwards and Smith next week.  Not sure who to VC and C yet.

One of the reasons my bye numbers are so shite, is because no eel is worth owning or a keeper

Had Guth since beginning and gone great. Got Brown 3 weeks before rib injury looked a genius move. Kaysa been doing ok bar the early HIA Semi there for 15 and sell if flops. I'm pretty happy with my overall coverage

Should I get rid of Aubbs or SMAT for BJ?
    Nice team mate.

If you do it I reckon SMat is the one to go.

    50K in the bank.

First off have gone Milf to Munster, but where else?  Was thinking SST has been stinking it up so could downgrade to Fui?  220K but starting so might still be able to jump on, if not cash out to Marsters.  Not much to work with here.

Anyone got ideas for this team for my mate?

Needs to fix the halves badly.....maybe downgrade a WFB or CTR or both. Milf and Elgey to SJ and Norman asap or Pearce straight after origin. Rest of team is good / serviceable. Don't like Aubbs in 2RF, could also downgrade to a DPP FRF/2RF nuff to raise funds for halves.

Dud halves and too many mid rangers. You need to start cashing out and getting keepers. I really don't like the Lolohea trade considering the amount of spuds you already have

    Why not?

Some luck would have him not moving to ctr again for a while.

I'm discounting the Melbourne game as they got thoroughly pummelled.

I have no real reason. Ive been tempted to trade him out myself, but after this week his byes are done so I'm hoping he can sit there untouched for a while and potentially turn into whoever looks the best centre at around round 20/21

Am I the only one in this forum that thinks SMat is the biggest con job going around?

There seems to be this blind faith in him, every week you see, 'smat will come good', 'due for a few 40s' etc. I haven't ben paying attention to the people been spruiking him, because it really doesn't matter, and i'm sure its only with good intention that its done. But I just don't understand the faith people have him in.

obviously this is all with 20/20 hindsight.

    Cons:
    he isn't a POD,
average is mid to high 30s
    Injury prone
prone to be shifted to Ctrs
    wasn't cheap to begin with
    not making substantial cash
there are other options that were well forecasted in the CT position that have done much better, i.e Cotric, Moga.

    Pro:
    He has DPP.

Thanks, yeah, have advised Milf to Munster and a downgrade of Aubbs or SST to maybe Marsters will get enough funds to upgrade Elgey to Norman.

yeah but in a way its also a PRO that he is high ownership. If he goes shit, it doesn't hurt you too badly as it screws over everyone.

I think the reason most still have him and continue to hold and hope is that there are bigger problems to deal with and the centre position has been a lottery anyway. There hasn't really been a need to use a trade to get him out.

The players that average higher than him: Tommy T who's been injured, Roberts and Lafai who aren't really respected guns, Walker who had up until recently been underwhelming, and Hoppa who, well, not many people are going to go near. Cotric who everyone has/had, and Croker who has also been a little underwhelming.

Yeah this is a fair point. Having a player that you can just leave there and they mostly don't go shit, can be handy when there aren't other options that are super obvious.
