I'm actually thinking of not loopholing & sticking the captaincy on McInnes. I have Smith2 as my other hooker so I won't be able to loophole. I don't expect a massive score from McInnes but he plays 80 minutes & should do plenty of defense against the Eels.

I'm a Kiwi & not sure but isn't the Dragons v Eels game like a local derby.

It ISN'T a local derby WL.

Kogarah (St.George district) and Parramatta are nowhere near each other. The St.George district is in the east of Sydney on the coast, while Parramatta is in the west of Sydney about 30km inland. It's about a 60-90 minute drive, depending on the day, time, and traffic. Sydney traffic can be a nightmare.

I've got my forwards set, but like a few I need to sort out Ctr and wfb with keepers. .

Does anyone see options for trading in keepers this weekend?

Or should I just take the extra trades to cash out?

I'd like to get teddy, rapana, probably Roberts over ttrbo (due to pod-everyone will have ttrbo); but none have f these guys are worthwhile this week.

I don't think so. Couple of weeks and then the broncs byes, then threat of origin should something happen to Thurston or Cronk.

I was going to pick him up as a boo or bust pod, but the shoulder has put me off.

Cleary perhaps at his lowest price?

Graham is probably my ticket back to Fifita. Which was always the plan I just didn't expect the downturn in scores (and hence price) in the interim.

Is it important to make the most of these bye round cash outs while you still can? Want I get rid of Frawley and Kelly for guys that will be useful this week.

Or just stick with the old plan?

Here is my team post trades, still mulling over the Graham conundrum

    Smith McInnes
    Taupau James Brown Eisenhuth
Taumalolo JDB Surgess Gallen Crichton Fai
    SJ CWalker NuBrown Hampton
    BJ Fuimaono Scott Kelly
    RTS Munster Radradra Hayne Phythian

The way I see it the three players in need of upgrading are Kelly Radradra and Hampton. If I cashout Brown I will have lots of cash to address these issues. Anybody else have a suggestion?

Few interesting points made during the day so I will throw my two cents in on a few of them

Sione as a keeper: sure he hasn't been lighting the world on fire but as a centre there aren't many options that are. Unless you were looking to upgrade him to TTurbo next week I would keep. A 36 average is respectable at centre while no one else is looking like an outstanding option. I personally plan to end with TTurbo and Sione as my centres

Cleary: lots of negatives last week which was not nice to see as an owner. 9 missed tackles and I would say all of them came from either Papalii or Paulo targeting him. Not gonna play tackle busting machines every week so that should normalise. Still a cut price keeper with no byes remaining after this week

Captaincy: For me I target a high upside keeper VC for bye rounds with a solid base scorer with potential to go large as captain. Going Crichton VC as there should be plenty of tbs running at the titans halves with chance of a try due to titans poor defense. Going JDB as Captain as you can just about lock him in for 40 tackles and 100 metres with the chances at TBs and offloads to push that score up

What is SMats pure average playing in the 2RF?

I would guess it puts him a few points higher in the CTR avg stakes. Keeper for me

With not even a double digit amount of players playing this week, this is me.

This is me with my round 18 team. That's a problem for future me, so I'm just going to ignore the impending disaster.

You can too, as long as at least one of your 2RF reserves plays after your captain. (and as long as you only have 4 or less scoring players outside your starting 13)

    dump Cotric.

My only 100% absolute advice this season. He has done he job, dump him and cash in.

I will be re quoting this every week for the rest of the season.

I would trade Crocker because he has been retired for several years and should never have been in your team to start with.

I'd probably keep Croker over Cotric if I had both

    I have

    1 HOK
    3 FRF (1 R)
    6 2RF (3 R)
    3 HLF
    0 CTR
    3 WFB

Looks like that 1 half will stop me from looping
