Base stats are base stats. TBs aren't base stats. You could say Mansour TB numbers are good. Cotric base stats are good. No. His TB numbers are good

Got him 2 weeks ago and could be a good alternative for the WFB for the run in.

Coach Griffin would be a fool to even consider moving Moylan back to fullback. The Panthers have looked a much better side and more dangerous in the past two weeks then they have all season with Moylan in the halves and Edwards at fullback. Cartwright can and should play in the backrow IMO. Upon his return he should be given the ability to roam and inject himself where necessary.

Looking at Moylan's scores since round 9 he has scored a minimum of one try per game, while fantastic, is surely not sustainable. He relies heavily on line breaks, LBA's and TA's. I for one wouldn't be trading him in at this point considering he is almost 400k. I would rather spend a little extra dough and get someone like Tedesco. I'm surprised Moylan didn't win the Carter award for round 14 with a massive 7 missed tackles, 3 errors and 1 penalty conceded.

Yea he would of scored me a huge total if not for all the minus points however, shows he can sustain a good avg even without the tries etc by balancing not racking up Carter esque minus numbers

    Yes and no.

I mean we all know base stats are run metres and tackles.  Add kick metres to that with halves.  There is the odd player where you can add tries or TB's as base stats when they have proven said stats over a few seasons.  Not something I do personally-I agree with you that base stats are base stats.

However, the exception to the rule as above applies to someone like Ted as well and some other fullbacks/wingers.  I mean you wouldn't ever consider Ted in your team if you weren't banking on him getting 6 or 7 TB's a game.

Anyone else contemplating Dugan? Last 3 game average of 44 points. $402k with 2.18% ownership. POD territory.

I'm old enough as it is so I'd rather not age another 20 years as well. Dugan does come with risks but I wouldn't buy him until round 19.

It's quiet in here tonight, but hopefully someone can help an over-thinker out.

Next week I will be trading Suli to Edwards. To afford this trade, I need Suli to score around 30 points or more this week.

Option 1: Would you take the risk that he scores 30+?
    OR
Option 2: Would you trade in Taumalolo instead of Surgess this week to be sure that you had the cash required next week?

I would rather Surgess than Taumalolo as I am super short in Round 18. But I would also like to be able to bring in Edwards next week in 1 trade, as Slats would be super proud of me and my trading so far.

I know this is pretty much a stupid question unless someone has a crystal ball. It's pretty much 50/50. Suli has scored over 30 in 7 out of 14 weeks. Though his highest score of 64 was against the Sharks, but that doesn't mean much.
I've just thought about it all so much I'm lost and need some external advice.

Might just have to leave McGuire and ET as they are. Backs and halves are to much of a mess to worry about luxury trades like that.

I figure your mob will be running a lot more traffic at CheeKam than Suli's side.  Mostly irrelevant though as Suli will see more in attack.

A back line of Edwards, Lolohea and Hayne definitely worries me.
All 3 are borderline keepers, very borderline though.

This week JDB, Laybutt and Scott come in because that backline need some TLC
