    Slater>Cody really works for rest of my bye shuffling. Do we think he can bounce back points wise against Titans? One of key reasons his scores are down is making about 15 less tackles at fullback vs half

    Two this week:

    Frawley -> Laybutt
    Jennings -> Scott

    leaves me with

    Smith Brailey
    McGuire Gurgess JWH Matagi
    Taumalolo Surgess Gallen JDB Crichton Elliot
    Norman Munster Walker Laybutt
    Fuimaono BJ SMata Scott
    Radradra Cotric RTS Edwards MWZ

    Rank 1800, 9 trades left, $445k in the bank

    Round 16
    McGuire ($465) -> Taupau ($559) ~100k
    Cotric ($370) -> TT ($414) ~45k

    7 trades left, $300k bank

    Round 18
    Smith Brailey
    Taupau Gurgess JWH Nuffie
    Taumalolo Surgess Gallen JDB Crichton Elliot
    Norman Munster Walker Laybutt

    MWZ ($162)- > Rapana ($519) ~360k

    - Short 100k

    Final team ??

    Smith
    Taupau Fifita JWH
    Taumalolo Surgess Gallen JDB Crichton Elliot
    Norman Munster Walker
    Fuimaono BJ SMata
    Radradra RTS TT Rapana Edwards

    Thoughts ?!?

    Running 1 hooker and guys like fui, semi, jwh as a final 17 makes my heart break.

    I can understand why you want to keep certain players like SMat for the remaining byes but if he's going to be giving you crap like 25-35ppg for the 16-19 (which equals 100-140points in those 4 games) then your better off upgrading asap to a keeper gun with 1 bye left like JRoberts who will give you 40-50ppg = 120-150 points.

    Ok breakdown time. Picking out the guys from your r15 team who shouldn't be in the final 17:
    Brailey, Gurgess, JWH , Matagi , SMat , Fui , Semi

    Round 15.
    Your trades for this round are good. I'll add JWH as a trade out since he's the only one who plays one more bye. Trade him out to NBrown who is fine for a keeper 17, gives you two good byes and his price is good.
    banked cash = $405k

    Round 16
    the person to target in this round is Matagi. With those numbers you should be glad to see the back of him. Get your man Taupau in for him.
    Smat is the 2017 version of aubbs. Cotric has been great. Smat -> TTurbo
    Bank = $40k

    Round 19
    Semi -> dpp half/wfb newbie so you can move walker/munster up and down . Bank = $220k
    I'd rather the safety of two hookers so I'd do Brailey to McInnes in r19 or sooner if Mortimer/Seggy is a danger to his minutes.

    Your r19 team should look like
    Smith, McInnes,
    Taupau, McGuire, NBrown, npr Gurgess
    Lolo, Surgess, Gtrain, JDB, Chrichton, npr Elliot
    Norman, Munster, npr Walker, npr laybutt
    BJ, Cotric, npr fuimaono, npr scott
    TTurbo, RTS, Edwards, npr MWZ , npr half/wfb

    I think that is a more balanced team and you still have cashouts in AElliot,Gurgess, Fuimaono, if you want to upgrade McGuire and/or Cotric

    i like the way you think , it just pains me get NBrown as i booted him (*but to be fair, i booted him at top dollar $443) when he got injured.

    Nice analysis, appreciate it! Food for thought.

    You are kind of replacing a bloke who posts 2 scores for you in the next 5 weeks with another if you go Slater to Pearce.  Not saying don't do it, but when figuring that in plus the extra cash it seems sideways at the moment.  Norman gives you the extra game but probably no more points so same scenario.

    Replaced Slater with Edwards will trade Walker eventually to Pearce. If he doesn't pick up this game maybe round 20.

    I'd like a cashout but I think getting Walker gives me bye numbers where I need them. Can he score well again is the question

    Slater>Edwards should prove a very good trade.  I am potentially doing it next round.

    I don't have him, but with all the Titans injuries and the way it was rushed, seemed it was going to happen.

    I think it's worth the risk v reward with bye numbers.  I had Calker all but in my team a month ago but reversed at the last minute with the contract chat.  Would love him for the run home IF he comes good.

    Will Matty Moylan stay in the halves?

    Got him 2 weeks ago and could be a good alternative for the WFB for the run in.

    Yeah, good call.  You'd thin he would but when is Carty back?

    original call was 6-8 weeks wasn't it?

    Griffin would need to think looong and hard about throwing Cartwright back into the halves mix, 1 crushing win against the dogs and a very good win against a quality raiders team with Moylan in the 6

    Surely Griffin isn't that dull
