Thank for the advice. That will see me running with Tedesco, Slater, RTS and Edwards to finish the season. Munster up in the halves also.

So what's the thinking with 4 gun wfb's. Is 1 going to be a reserve every game?

    Cheers Welshy,

Still torn on how I'll settle on my FRF. Its seems pretty much luxury trading. Currently:

    Vaughan, James, Tolman

I want Taupau, so is it ok to go Tolman to Graham then James to Taupau?
Predicament here is risk of Graham re-injury in this scenario, so with an already decent FR I would just go Tolman straight to Taupau if you want him

I wouldn't swap James out for Graham

Unless you get Graham for James/Tolman and the cash saved allows a big upgrade elsewhere, worth it in that scenario, especially if Graham remains injury free

I picked up Edwards as a cashout of sorts before he shot up in price. The 4th WFB is there in case of injury or a late game day withdrawal.

Uh is it crazy to say I probably don't think I'll need to at the moment? My WFB's are Guth, RTS, Munster after trading Slater, and Edwards. Guth obviously no longer a keeper and will either be sold or used as 18th man but Edwards has popped up in the meantime so I have a pretty decent lineup there, that should suffice.

I mean if somebody goes down he'll be a priority trade-in but other than that is it worth using one of the 8 trades I have left for a 5 points better player on averages?

im considering slater to tedesco next week. storm have arguably tougher opposition in broncs/roosters then two byes, while wests have titans/knights.

poor opposition might not mean much but i figure its a good a time as any to make the swap

Wondering if I should turn Milf into a premium WFB instead of a HLF, will run with Munster and Lolohea

I dont mind this trade. Fui is starting and is not a bad 3rd/4th center to have in your team

The thing is you're going to have a monster score in the npr's every week. I would wait until round 19 to get Tedesco. You can run Slater, RTS & Edwards up until then. I would rather get rid of RTS for Tedesco & use the cash elsewhere.

    (a) Munster or
    (b) Vaughan

    Cheers.

Seems like most aren't planning to get Mansour. No byes to go, Panthers with an easy draw and great base stats he is almost a must for me

Better off getting someone like Curtis Scott and banking the cash unless you have to play whoever you trade in weekly

Round 17 for Cotric. If you told me week 1 I could make that trade for 60k I would have laughed you out of the building. Cotric has done his job and Tedesco is still scary to watch as a non owner

What is SMats pure average playing in the 2RF?

I would guess it puts him a few points higher in the CTR avg stakes. Keeper for me

Just on the Sione debate. Someone mentioned it earlier with respect to injuries, but it seems to me there is no point using his non-C average in justifying keeping him either. The guy has started at, or been shifted to C several times this year, with the injury situation at the Knights it will likely happen a couple more times this year too. The guys average is what it is and I would suggest that is the best predictor moving forward.

That being said I agree with the MS that 36 is still respectable at C and unless you have trades and cash to burn he's a pretty solid option at C for the year.

How has he scored the last couple seasons MS? This is my first full season so I haven't really watched him in the fantasy context.

He's certainly an option for me. Im just not sure what to expect from him? He's another WFB that racks up heaps of TBs right?

I dont need to play him, so perhaps Scott is the better option to run with.

On that note, if you had Slater currently (and a WFB group of Rapana, Edwards, Walker, MWZ & Slater) would you:

    a) Hold him for the season?
    b) Trade Slater to Teddy?
    c) Trade to Slater to Mansour?

Slater will miss 18 and 19 and at 45 that means 405 points.
Teddy misses 18 so at 50 thats 500 points total (although I think is a risk of missing 16 too on a short turnaround)
Mansour plays the rest but I don't know what to expect from him on average per game. if its >45 he would be the option!
