Started the week with 420k
McGuire > Brown
Yates > JDB
Kelly > Scott
Leaves me 12 trades and 330k
Or better to go Milf > ARey/Norman?

The rest of your team must be amazing if this is your biggest problem.
I don't think its worth burning a trade for what is essentially an extra 60ish points from the extra bye round played. Milf is gone for approximately 6 weeks so I'd rather just wait til he's back and re-evaluate if Niko will affect Macca's scores.

Honestly the amount of points A. Reynolds and C. Norman make would be more than Scott, but now is the best time to cash out Kelly and make that trade.

That's what I thought. Can get rid of Milf next week for a small cash hit. Hopefully Scott can be that young gun he was meant to be last yearRandom wrote:

He's already snug as a bug in my WFB. Peachey at centre also, no more panthers for me.

Is Sione to Edwards a good trade? Really sick of Sione's inconsistency but would leave me with Hayne and Cotric in CTRs.

Rippin and Tearin wrote:On that note, if you had Slater currently (and a WFB group of Rapana, Edwards, Walker, MWZ & Slater) would you:
a) Hold him for the season?
b) Trade Slater to Teddy?
c) Trade to Slater to Mansour?
Slater will miss 18 and 19 and at 45 that means 405 points.
Teddy misses 18 so at 50 thats 500 points total (although I think is a risk of missing 16 too on a short turnaround)
Mansour plays the rest but I don't know what to expect from him on average per game. if its >45 he would be the option!
I'd be looking at doing something with CWalker since he's looked like a turd for a few games now.
But out of the options you given, if your trades are low, I'd hold Slater. If your trade numbers are good, I'd go Slater to Mansour. You get the extra bye played and I see Mansour as Rapana-esque. He does good work running out from dummy half and get TB's like Rapana. He'll also nab the concessional try when the Panthers spread it

Cheers mate.
Yeah Walker has been an absolute bust for me and you may well be right to trade him, but Im hoping he improves and am planning on holding for 15, 18, and 19 and hoping he adds some value. Then he'll be stashed away as my 18th 19th 20th man in case of injury. His DPP could be good value given I have Munster as well.

I am doing the same trade which will leave me with the same CTR pairing. Might look to upgrade Hayne at some stage

Cheers.
Like MS said, depends on your team makeup. Otherwise comparing the two, I like Munster. Storm haven't been going to his side as much yet he can still bust out solid scores. With the spine gone for origin, I'm expecting big things from him during the bye rounds. If you can field 17 players in r19, then Munster plays an extra bye round. Vaughan's lack of minutes lately has been scaring me. He doesn't seem to run with as much venom as he did at the start of the season.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
With a front 12 of:
Friend, Brailey
Fifita, Vaughan, McGuire, Musgrove
Gallen, Surgess, Taumalolo, Crichton, ET, Yates
Is it perhaps better to downgrade Musgrove and Yates rather than upgrade Yates to JDB?
I feel like that money could be better spent in my starting WFBs??
Just want to get some thoughts on that

Smith Hodgson
Graham Brown Hoare Wallace
JDB Gallen Surgess A.Elliot Crichton Stimson
Munster Johnson Feeney Field
Hayne Aubbs Fui SMAT
Walker Slater RTS MWZ Phythian
My trades this round SMAT>C.Scott and A.Elliot>Vaughan. I normally play SMAT and Aubbs in the centres but would rather play Hayne and Aubbs. Any Good?

Haha now I feel like I should save some cash and trades to get Kapow, TTurbo and Mansour in next week.
Oh man I hate decisions.

This is basically what I'm doing. Two downgrades to cheapies who play this week (laybutt and scott, hopefully they combine for some points).
The only potential keepers who appeal to me are Brown and Vaughan, but I think I'll bypass them. If I get Brown this week I still have the same amount of players this week, but leaves me one short next week.. so it seems a little more beneficial to bypass him.
Next week the cash will be used for Fifita and either Tommy Turbo or Taupau

I'm guessing Frawley > Laybutt and Kelly > Scott make the most sense this week.
Then bring in Kapow, TTurbo and may gamble on the Mansaw

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 49
Teams looks like:
Pritch, Smith
Fifi, Brown, Graham
JDB, Lolo, Gallen, Surgess, Crichton, Elliot
Munster, SJ, NuBrown
Smat, Cotric, Fui, Suli
Slater, RTS, Semi, Hayne
Only have 12 this round, and 11 in 18 Any thoughts?
I'm thinking Suli>Scott purely to fund Pritch>McInnes. Wanted to hold through byes but just makes too much sense.
Always planned to trade Slater>Calker this round but its hard to pull that trigger... next week would be Semi>Edwards.

His base stats last 2 games are 20 from his run metres. These are great run metres but great base stats?

Is Slater>Cody crazy? I mean he plays the 3 games Slater misses. That should be 100pts at least
