+1 I'm in the same boat so will ride it out.Johnny B Goode wrote:Might hold fire on a Surgess trade. My trades this week were Manu to C Scott, Slater to Munster and Wallace to JDB.
I don't gain any advantage trading him out this week. If by next week though he's confirmed to be out a while I can trade Surgess to Taupau.

Souths Twitter said they don't have an official diagnosis yet but looks like just a 1 weeker. With 8 trades left I will play it safe

If I had one more trade I would trade out Surgess because I need another rd16 player also. Oh well.

I'm making maybe the most shit move of my shit fantasy career. Currently just outside 10k so whatever - nothing to lose!
Traded Surgess to Gallen, now 9 trades left and 55k. I'll bring Surgess back in maybe 2 weeks time through some risky downgrades, as well as Smith.
McInnes Brailey
Wallace NBrown JWH Tolman
Gallen Crichton JDB Lolo Capewell Whitehead
Norman Munster Laybutt Field
Fuimaono Beale Moga Aubs
CWalker Slater RTS Wighton Roberts-Davis
C Gallen VC Crichton

Intial reports Sam Burgess glute strain only minor 1-3 weeks. Reminder "Strain" and "Tear" is effectively same injury. Just different grades.

If I get rid of surges, I could go..
S. Burgess to J. De Belin,
A. Elliott to N. Brown
N. Cotric to M. Pearce
Does that sound stupid? I would have money to bring in Fifita next week too which would give me this team
C. Smith
A. Fifita, J.Graham
J. De Belin, J. Taumalolo, P. Gallen, A. Crichton, N. Brown
S. Johnson, M. Pearce, A. Reynolds
J. Hayne, J. Leuilua
J. Rapana, J. Tedesco, R. Tuivasa Sheck, C. Walker

Because I had 16 players in round 16, I opted for the Surgess to Lolo trade...
... but honestly, it's just an excuse to justify my trade-raging

That 82 points I got from going CS9 - Friend in R12 was the most glorious 82 points I've ever scored. The 70 next week was just as good.
Although I can't remember Friends score last week, I was too busy crying into my weetbix.
