But as a bye round cash out there is certainly value there. At $146k the similar priced options aren't stellar.

Wow guy/girl in 4th place has like 17 players for Round 18, I have like 12 at best. I mean it does mean they'll have about 10 unavailable players the next round but still they're going to surge to 1 after that. How many trades are they going to spend getting some of them mid-rangers out is the real question.

I'm basing my team around the idea that I will only have 18 players from after the bye rounds.
Gives me a (hopefully) strong AE and if I'm down to 17 for the week I can utilise the loophole.

Also, currently have 11 trades left so pretty happy with that.

What are peoples thoughts on Norman? Lost his keeper status? Two sub-40 scores worries me but he can pump out a big score and was playing very well in the weekend in terms of being the key playmaker. He misses two byes and I'd love to get Cleary in but can't afford him unless I'm trading someone else.

Is running with McInnes+McCullough for rest of season crazy? I need to make some risky moves in 26th to have any chance against leaders

Peta Hiku has been released by the Panthers. Essentially it means any prospect of Edwards not retaining his spot has been reduced even further

Hey guys, could someone fill be in on JBrom and how he came to play so many minutes? 76 minutes this round just gone, 4 of which I assume were in OT, but still 72 total.

Did Finucane get injured? and then on top of that they had a bench with hooker cover?

Just trying to figure out if he nabs bigger minutes than his previous few games moving forward.

"Planning to have exactly 17....." lol. With about 10 fringe cash cows hanging around that could be named any week. Righto. I hate the loophole. I have other things to do on weekends. I was fishing in Caloundra on Friday afternoon/night when Surgess got scratched. I could have vc'd Crichton too.

My preference is the loophole gets canned altogether. I don't see why bad bye planners should get a double dip. That's my opinion and nothing will change it.

The game's 80% luck anyway. Injuries, HIA, suspensions, late pull outs. Don't go wrapping yourselves in hindsight too much, lucky guys. The loophole is a farce.

Finucane went off and didnt return due to HIA.

Don't recall any other injuries.

Just my opinion champ. Keep the insults down or you mightn't like what comes back. You've already stated you don't follow the game and that is probably the most annoying factor. Gumbies without a clue about league, lucking scores from stats, fudging and lucky breaks. Let's see how you're travelling at year's end. My best result is 108th. When you match it, come back to me.

After trading Yates to Fifita, I just noticed I could also do Brailey to Smith and leave 0k in the bank..

I do feel nervous about bringing Smith in now but if Brailey scores 3 x 40's over the next 4 rounds then Smith only needs to score 2 x 60+ to be better than that in overall points gained. Would be waiting until Friday to hear how 'smith pulled up' after origin.. if he plays reduced mins on the weekend its not worth it.

You are right, I watch on average a few halves of NRL each week (like you I have a life outside of this game which prevents me from watching as much as I would like) but dont let that annoy you too much, I've also stated I'm also a sports analyst in my day job so perhaps I've got a bit more of a clue than you give me credit for.

I shall take that as a challenge for next year though bud and I shall come back to you for sure.
