Who do you guys think is a better upgrade for Cody in the halves out of Norman and Cleary? I have 17 already with my two worst players already played (cnk and mwz) so I dont mind trading in a blue dot if it helps my team in the long run.

With Isaac Luke out injured, cheapie roache did well in his place. Is it worth reversing my Macca trade this week and see if he gets the starting gig next week?
I don't need him in my regular 17

I've cooked my plan as I dont have anyone to bench for Cleary. It would've been MWZ or CNK but they both had early games..

I will, just for safety. 65 is a pretty decent captain's score and while my actual C Gal is doing pretty well, you just never know what might happen so I'll take the safe extra 65 points.

Yeah, its safe to tske SJs 65 but safe is boring. You know if you do loophole, Fifi will bust out an 80. If you don't loophole, he will go for 39.

Re: 2017 NRL.COM Fantasy Thread 53
So I was thinking of getting Cleary so I looked at his scoring stats. 13 games at an average of 47.00 with a ppm of 0.59. He has only scored 50+ in 6 of those games (Tigers=54, Roosters=50, Knights *2=74 & 50, Souths=51 & Bulldogs=67)
What a draw from this is he only scores well against easier teams & struggles to score well against difficult opposition. So we all agree the Panthers have hit form & are on the up but in a free flowing high scoring game against the Raiders in round 14 he only scored 39 points. In fact in 5 of his 13 games he's scored 30's (Dragons=33, Sharks=31, Eels=39, Broncos=37, Raiders=39). The 2 other scores have been 40's (Storm=41, Warriors=45)
The more I look at the above the more I think he's a underwelming trade. I'd much rather wait & get Pearce in round 20.

He hasn't convinced me yet either. He's a good option because of byes but getting sick of trading in players just because of byes to see them average under keeper material.
Ideally you would wait for pearce but he still misses two more games. Tough one

I did a bit of a fuck QLD trade and dumped Slater for Mansour. Good or bad? I could go T Turbo

Got to watch out for B-Moz's injury with that trade. Some here think T Turbo will get the left wing spot for Game III if Morris is unavailable but I'm pretty sure they'll go with Mansour. Got that 'experience', specialist left winger and his injury lay-off is no concern if he keeps performing great.
Don't let one less round turn you off buying him though. If he puts up two 50+ performances what does matter if he misses 18?

i did the same trade. only at 2% ownership up from 1.6 yesterday. i reckon this will increase before rnd18 and hoping he goes huge to make it harder for others to jump on board.
in regards to turbo ive already got him in the centres. not sure which way i would go between the two as turbo has dpp which could be handy if youve got hayne for the run home
i would however put turbo ahead of mansour for an origin call up, due to being a reserve in game 2
