Why would you NOT have a C playing later than the first game so you can have a sneaky look at what is effectively a 'second Captain'? Gallen was Ando's Captain, great strategy; Mannering scored 45 last hit out but is capable of going large, Gallen hasn't scored below that all year and hasn't scored less than 60 his last 3 games.
