Id stick with your forward pack, unless you wanted to bring in someone like JTurbo for forward POD.

Plenty of ground to make up in the Halves and CTW.

Croker unfortunately isn't looking as safe as he normally isk, SMat is garbage after 18rds im sick of hearing "due a big score".

Bit of POD action in CTRs, Aitken and Roberts would be my targets if I had the trades (after this round, I thin Aitken is due back soon). But I don't so im stuck with Cotric and Turbo.

If you could find a way to bring in Pearce after Rd 19, that would sure up your halves.

Dunno the best approach to get those players in, regarding you dollarydoo situation. But those would be my targets

Aitken played last week, scored 35. SMat and Croker are my two centres also with COtric and Fui on the bench so it's interesting your thoughts on them. Besides last week Croker has only gone under 40 once since round 10, and SMat has had a 38 and a 46, so nothing to sneeze at.

I have fui on bench too, not displeased with that.

My feeling on Croker is more that the raiders aren't scoring as freely as last year in particular, lowers his ceiling. My CTW before this round was Cotric and Croker with Fui on the pine. Brought in Turbo this week for Croker. Not 100% sold on it.

If youre validating SMAT existence in the team by saying he has scored a 46 and a 38 then youre not argument is weak. Ayshford busted out a 50, with a similar 3 game and 5 game average for cheaper, no one is rushing him in. Leutele, the least popular CTR in the fantasy game, has got a 62, with a similar average as Smat, again no one wants him in their team.

Don't get me wrong, if Smat is in your team that doesn't make him an immediate sell. I just convinced that everyone is wearing rose tinted glasses, remembering the love he was receiving at the start of the season. It seemed like a good idea at the season start. I cant understand how people have continued the love this long.

This is my team only have 9 players

What would you think about trading in J.Field for Hodgson?

That would give you one more good scorer for this week, plus Field is a better second hooker for the run home than Hodgson, and you wouldn't have to worry about what's going on with Hodgson's injury.

I was bringing Kapow in this week, thoughts on the Manly dramas-what's the feeling over that way? Beat up or serious?

I don't think it will make a difference to the way they are performing.

I get what you are saying regarding SMat, he hasn't lived up to the pre season expectations.  The difference with him and the other players is that he is playing second row, of course he does get shifted but I think that's the one big thing has keeps him around.  He has that ability and opportunity to produce decent scores with base stats, he just has had a few hiccups.  Don't get me wrong another shit game and he could be gone for me too.

Was also looking at Croker to Turbo but I'm expecting the Raiders to use this week off and give themselves a kick up the ass and come back firing hopefully. I started with Turbo funnily enough in the centres and traded him out for Croker when he got injured.

As a raiders supporter, I hope so.

Although I have enjoyed backing their opposition the last few weeks, how the raiders keep coming in as favourites is astonishing.

There are always dramas at Manly. The board are always infighting, etc.
I don't believe it will adversely affect them.
The 'rumours' are allegedly about a former player anyway.

I still have Cotric too, finding it hard to trade him out. We just know what the team are capable when they get going. Cotric to Turbo for 25K is a steal.

It's serious the police have used coercive power laws to interrogate businessmen and players who  have no choice but to spill the beans. But there's 2 catches:

    1. Under coercive powers laws the information can't be shared with non legal entities g. the police can't tell the NRL what they know
    2. It's not a crime to pay someone money over the salary cap, or receive it.

No effect unless you didn't claim all your payments on tax or the payments were from Eddie.

I was thinking along the lines of boosting Nrl4Life's Round 18 score since he only has  players this week.

If you take R18 out the equation, then from R20 onwards, shirley (sic) McInnes and Friend is a toss of the coin.
