315 from 6 including Friendly loophole.
7 to play, mainly backs. Will be lucky to get mid-600s.

Sure, unless there was a HIA or injury. But even in those 20min he could bust tackles or score a try or something.B/L wrote:He was never going to play more then 20 minutes.
I was under no illusions as to his likely game time, or probable score, that wasn't my point. Was simply hoping to catch a lucky break on a cash out and pick up some bonus points. My gut said I'd get lucky with butcher for a one off score and I was having a laugh at just how far off I was.

If Reyno updates by 5 points, I'm loopholing. Taupau is too risky for me. Now he'll score 90.

Completely up to you mate.
The Captain's Loophole in it's current form though over the last few years is no longer about picking a MASSIVE VC fluke score and taking it, it is now about taking a good safe score, particularly with the HIA issues.

I can vouch for this. A Johnson in the hand is worth two Gallens in the bush.SI wrote:

Heres my idea to fix the Loophole..
- You can't bench your Captain
- Your Captain must be named in the final 17
- Get rid of VC all together
Simple

Correct me if I'm wrong Rabs, because I'd hate to put words in your mouth, but I swear that you said 3 or maybe even 4 years ago that you would NEVER bring Maubbs in again?
I do find him irresistible as well

The VC is there in case your Captain is a late withdrawal.

He's been playing centre in the big byes, which is a pain in the fucking arse, but if he actuaully sticks to 2RF with a fit Easts backline he'll be the highest averaging centre in the game for the run in.
I'm keeping him, but will also have SMat and Hayne on the bench who can come in if Aubo looks like playing centre on any given week.

Latrell makes 1 tackle & scores 43 with 9 t/b's. I'm sure he made more than 1 tackle, maybe 3-4.

Yeah but if the player is in the final 17 then this wont happen (Barring an injury in warm up)

Friend really is a POD treasure during byes. 6% ownership and plucking a 70+.
He will do me as a V.C. As a Roosters supporter I always worry that they exhaust
him on defence as he is an attacking weapon when required. I thought Robinson
outplayed Maguire as a coach tonight. Having the balls to start Cornish payed off.
