    Very tough decision.  Pearce one less game but extra 10 average means he gets you around 20 extra points by Round 26.

    However, DCE's average is on the way up so they may end up scoring you the same if DCE's form continues.

    Pearce does seem to have the higher ceiling.

    How many playing this round?

    I've got the full 17 even if NuBrown doesn't play,I'll just have to use Hampton if so. And yes I'm torn as I think DCE is in for a big end to the year so it's making me think maybe forget Pearce and use my leftover cash elsewhere? Eg upgrading Fui perhaps,that's all I've got in mind at this point to be honest. Here's my team,maybe you can see something else I should be considering?

    Smith McInnes
    Fifita Brown Eisenhuth Fai
    Taumalolo Taupau JDB Surgess Gallen Crichton
    SJ Munster NuBrown Hampton
    BJ Fuimaono Scott Kelly
    RTS Mansour Edwards Hayne Phythian

    Personally, I think I'd save the trade, unless you have quite a few left. Your depth is very good and you are going to be getting headaches deciding who to leave out as it is after this round.

    I'm not sure on the details mate but he played f/b for a while & then I think they realised he wasn't very good at it. As we know you can't hide when you're at f/b & if there's one thing Latrell likes doing it's hiding & having a bludge.

    So... for my team I could do the following...

    B. French -> J. Isaako
    J. Bromwich -> J. Tedesco

    Then next week

    J. Friend -> C. Smith

    Will leave me with 1 trade for the run home and the following team.

    HOK: C. Smith (C. McInnes)
    FRF: M. Taupau, A. Fifita (N. Brown, F. Taulua)
    2RF: P. Gallen, S. Burgess, J. de Belin (A. Crichton, T. Fuimoana, G. Fai)
    HLF: A. Reynolds, S. Johnson (A. Brimson, J. Field)
    CTR: J. Hayne, T. Trbojevic (C. Scott, S. Mata'utia)
    WFB: J. Tedesco, C. Munster, T. Lolohea (J. Isaako, J. Olam)

    Reserves: C. McInnes, N. Brown, A. Crichton, C. Scott/S. Mata'utia/T. Fuimoana

    Gives me a lot of DPP options. I could also look at other FRF/2RF players around the cost of $447k over bringing in Tedesco.

    He played quite a number of games at fullback but yeah, got dumped. Fergo could get the fullback gig. Fergo started the year last year at fullback and was talked up to the max and I put him in my starting team. Didn't live up to expectations and was shifted, then Mitchell came in and was shit too. A lot of people were cursing the loss of RTS. Can't remember who finished the year at FB but Gordon was a Godsend at the time.

    Man you're not gonna run Tui in your final team are you? I'd play Scott and even SMat over him.

    Good trades though. Looking at something similar. Was looking at getting Lane intead of a Isaako cashout but will mean I burn an extra trade to get Smith the week after.

    Naa he is just an option to run in the team, but is behind both of those guys.

    I much prefer Latrell on the wing instead of ctr. His last 4 scores = 64, 37, 27, 49. The 2 highest scores on the wing & the 2 crap scores at ctr.

    I think my team is shaping up not too bad. This weeks trades are looking like;

    Elliot - Cashout
    Yates - Taupau

    then next week thinking;

    Lolohea - Cashout
    Brailey to Smith

    So next week after trades my team should look like;

    Smith McInnes
    Fifita Taupau Brown NPR
    Surgess Tolo JDB Crichton Kaufusi Fui
    SJ Cleary Munster Laybutt
    SMat Croker Cotric Kelly
    Walker Slater Edwards Semi NPR

    With 5 trades remaining. The week after I think will be a centre upgrade to Turbo then I'm set. Should have enough to do it in one trade. Also maybe upgrade Kaufusi but I think he'll be good on the run home and also have Cotric and Semi there.

    They're both probably on par with each other in terms of output but Cody does has the benefit of dpp if that is of use to your team.

    If a Friend is out, it may force my hand to run with the 2 Maccas for the run in and use a trade but gain a good scorer for this week. Means no Smithy though and that doesn't feel right. Captain dilemmas every week.

    I think I'll bring in Mannering this week & captain him. The weather here in Auckland is wet layered on more wet & he's going to make 60 tackles at least on Friday. This winter in NZ has to be the worst winter for about 10 years.

      Current date/time is Sat Nov 23, 2024 2:33 pm
