the thing is rts has scored a try 5 games in a row which is why some poeple are wary of his inflated scores. 43 43 61 47 46. could continue, might not.

ted can bust these scores out without scoring tries. anyway im forced to stick with rts with almost no trades left

I don't buy into the "FB scored a try, so it's inflated" rubbish.

If a Front rower scores a try, it's inflated. That's an unexpected event. Might be a 1 in 20 chance that prop scores a try.

If a FB like RTS scores a try, its probably a 1 in 3 event, obviously it's more likely.

Tedesco not scoring a try in the last 4 matches is unusual, but given the team is on the decline, somewhat expected.

I would argue the warriors have greater scoring potential and therefore RTS more likely to score tries.

Also remember RTS is sitting at 6 points on average higher the last 5 games. A try is 8 points.

Finishing the year with Cleary and DCE. At no point did I feel I need another half. SJ or Pearce would be nice but oh well

I've just seen a lot of people on different platforms think having 3 gun halves is needed when it's really not.

Well if you have A. Reynolds as one of your halves its a given you need three.

    This week
    Elliot > Mannering
    Fui > Nuff

    Then next week
    Cotric >Nuff
    B.Smith > C.Smith

Gives me 3 trades left and $150k ish for the run home - Could luxury trade Walker > Pearce / Merrin > Taumololo in R21

    Smith, McInness (R)
    Fifita, Vaughan, Taupau (R)
Mannering, Crichton, Burgess, Gallen (R), JDB (R), Merrin (18th man)
    SJ, Walker,
    Scott, Hayne,
    Edwards, Munster, RTS

Ranked way back in the 2500s so hopefully will slowly eek up to finish 1000...

you dont have to buy into it, but 5 tries in a row is not normal no matter what position you play. and therefore his scores have been inflated by tries according to recent form.

if you think he will score a try every game for the rest of the season then your point stands, and his avg is where it should be. i respectfully disagree

and when compared with tedesco who primarily gets his points from tbs, i would prefer him in my team over rts. it feels like a safer bet as his scores wont depend on him crossing the line

Of course, as long as your 4 reserves come from your hooker, FRF and 2RF and they're all guns.

With RTS I wouldn't be worried about tries inflating his scores necessarily. Players like Guth and T Turbo scores have benefited from tries recently and if they're scoring frequently then it's enough of a factor to consider.

The real problem is look at what they score when they nab a try compared to RTS. In 5 games of scoring a try he's gone past the 50 mark once. That's the real thing to take notice of in my opinion

Rabbitohs have Crichton in doubt due to ongoing foot injury

    I'm sure he'll play.

lukeaye wrote:The reality is that the Tigers are a dog $hit team now. So I wouldn't expect Teddy to outscore RTS by a meaningful amount. If you have the trades to burn go for it, but I wouldn't bank on an 8 point on average higher score.

RTS still has the single digit injury score affecting his average. Also his last 5 round average is 6 points higher than Teddy

Agree on Ted, and correct on RTS.

I think a lot of people are where I was last week though-4 or 5 solid WFB's and a lot of money that could be released by trading one out and upgrading a couple of FRFs or SRFs.

I traded out RTS over Munster/Slater/Dedwards as RTS has scored a try in his last 5 games. He had some great scores earlier without tries, but the last month he was looking at some 20's and 30's before those tries.

I didn't want to trade him, but the funds were better used elsewhere.
