Halves and centers look a bit light if injuries happen so maybe keep Hayne up the sleave for later.
DPP Wallace is handy if one of the FRF goes down late in the season.
Some of your trades will depend on what your h2h opponent has.

Cheers.  Hmm fair point, maybe Wallace to Taupow.

Why not take a risk and go Cotric to James Roberts? I'm not a H2H player so I don't know though POD's help you but could win some watch ups.

I'd go RTS to Teddy. The Warriors are hopeless without Johnson although he might step up in his absence.
Manners very good but Wallace should be good for 4 at least.

    Leaning towards RTS to Teddy.

    Thanks for the responses.

Hey guys need some advice on what to do with my team this week

    3 trades 128k

    Smith McInnes
    Fifita Taupau Brown Eisenhuth
Taumalolo Gallen JDB Surgess Crichton Fai
    SJ Munster NuBrown Hampton
    BJ Scott Fuimaono Kelly
    RTS Mansour Edwards Hayne Phythian

Was thinking of just going for broke and using 2 trades this week leaving me with 1 in case of emergency

Option A: Trade out RTS and SJ for DCE and Pearce/Cleary

Option B: Trade out SJ for Pearce/Cleary and Fui for Turbo

Option C: Trade out Fui for Turbo and SJ for DCE

What do people think is the best option? Or is there anything else people can see?

Just trade SJ this week to whoever you want and leave it at that. Resist the urge to do a second trade, you really don't need to. Hookers and fowards are set and backs solid enough. The only problem you may have is if YT gets the gig over Scott then your centres will need a Turbo in there. If Scott gets the gig, you could hold. But if you had to do two, any half plus Turbo in the centres.

Long time listener, first time poster.  After some advice.  Playing H2H, $161k ITB, 9 trades left.

    Smith, McInnes (R)
    Fifita, McGuire, Eisenhuth, Tatola
    Surgess, Gallen, Crichton, Tolo(R), JDB(R), Wallace(R)
    Pearce, DCE, Laybut, Fogarty
    TTurbo, Cotric, Fui, Fine,
    RTS, Munster, Edwards, Hayne, Isaako

Thinking Cotric out for DPP Ctr/wfb.  Hayne to centre.

Wallace to Mannering or RTS to Teddy?

    Any advice appreciated.

G'day mate. That's a pretty damn fine team considering you have 9 trades left. I'd get rid of Fui for maybe Teddy via Hayne. That would use all your funds though or Wallace to Taupau or Mannering. Not sure on the funds but you could possibly get Taupau and Teddy this week surely?

Hey lads haven't been able to get on regularly for awhile. Been slammed at work and had a few personal life issues come up but hopefully passed through the brunt of that for now. Massive congrats to Booze for his mega score this week, and to the teams up near the top of the rankings. To have two teams in the top 5 rankings with only around 40 points covering the top 5 is great both for the coaches to have done so well, but also for this forum in recognition to everyone on here who bring such great advice/news and a welcome contribution to all coaches mulling over a decision

Definitely trade SJ. And judging by your trade options it looks like you are in favour of DCE over Pearce/Cleary. Haven't done enough planning/research/magic eight ball wizardry yet to give you any opinion either way here so go with what you want.

While it would be tempting to go full balls to the wall in Option A (if you had just put the trade options out there I'd say go with that), working your way down to only 1 trade left is a huge gamble. There's still 7 round left to play, more than a quarter of the season is left to play. It ain't like there's 3 or so and you can gamble that you get lucky and avoid a big injury. There's plenty of ground to be made in the next few weeks I feel, especially seeing so many teams on here down to 1 or even no trades. Those down to no trades have no room for error, while those with 1 have to be smart with it and not throw it away at the first injury if they can help it. Better to hold off if say BJ goes down (i'm sure there's a joke here lol! ) and you can just sub in Fui for the run in than make a panic trade and then Tlolo goes down and you've already used the last trade.

Cheers Wolfie. Yea you never know what's coming round the corner. Had a close family member pass and had to take a fair bit of time off work to sort things and then just been knuckling down catching up since I returned to work so really only been checking in here every so often, mainly come Thursday or Friday night just getting the team for the round all sorted.

Managed to pick up a fair few rankings though through the byes which was handy. Was around 4500 I think heading in to the byes but up to 1863 courtesy of a 997 last week (just needed one more TB Taupau Bang ). First year bye planning and it seems to have paid off. Stuck with the same SJ to DCE/Pearce conundrum everyone else is having though but at least I've already got Cleary so one less variable there.

What about yourself, tracking along well for the run in?

It's always sad and a difficult time when a close family member dies mate, just gotta work through it and support everyone.

That's a decent pick up in rankings over the byes mate, keep going and aim for the top 1000 next. Up to 801 which I'm stoked with considering I was outside the top 10000 in like round 5 or 6 and still slowly climbing. Have SJ also but also have Munster and Cleary so he will become Turbo to get the Brailey to Smith funds. Will have 5 trades after doing those two next week, so sitting well happy. SJ wasn't ideal, but that's fantasy.

Even though RTS is probably not looking like a great option for the run home, do you have enough to go Fui or Cotric instead to run Hayne in the centres.

EDIT: Just checked, I missed the hayne and Cotric DPP switches, so yeah, maybe RTS to Teddy is a goer.

In need of some advice lads.

SJ to Pearce and Fui to Teddy gives me a final 17 of,

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, Taupau
Gallen, Surgess, Mannering, JDB, Taumalolo, Brown
    Pearce, Cleary  ( WFB dpp)
    TTurbo, Scott, Hayne
    Tedesco, Munster, Mansour, RTS, Edwards

Or save the two trades for another week as I can cover SJ with Munster for now.

    Thanks in advance.
